i’m not the biggest george fan, but how many more of these departures can grey’s survive? i pretty much only watch for derek and meredith, anymore. though, if izzie survives they should think about changing the show’s name to steven’s anatomy, because she gets the most screentime out of anyone which pisses me off to no end. i wish she would just die already!
Well I for one will not miss him and I am beyond thrilled that Grey’s has decided to start dropping the dead weight.

I hope he finds something great! He deserve to be treated better than he was this past year. I loved George the character but I do not feel bad about him leaving because I think it is best for the actor.
Meh, no loss, the most boring, whiny, character on the show. I don’t forsee much of a future for him as an actor either, as his was only marginally talented to begin with. Sticking to stage would probably be the best idea.

I didn’t notice him last season so I won’t miss him in the next one or the ones after that.
As for the news about Jessica Capshaw… I couldn’t be happier. Finally they are cutting the dead weight and bringing in some vibrant new life into the show.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I really hope you are wrong! This sucks! After the Lost finale and the Grey’s finale, I was ready to throw my TV out the window. I am back to that. Juliet and George! UGH! I hate tv.

Good, whiny(sp) guy anyway….I’m gay and I don’t see it as a reason to keep him on just because of Isaihgate… He really is not that good of an actor anyway, no loss. Too much drama with him
The only question remaining now is, why should anyone keep watching this show? It’s been one of the most overrated series on TV, with the behind-the-scenes drama far more interesting than anything on-screen.
Maybe they’ll bring back Dr. Burke…
Finally! I’ve hated George since season 2.
And that’s probably the last time we’ll ever hear from TR Knight.
I only watch Grey’s for MerDer, Slexie, Owina, and Calzona, so Izzie can leave too.
