What do you do if all-around prince-among-men Zachary Levi shows up at your office unannounced just to say hello? If you’re me, you slap some powder on his face, throw a camera in front of him, and then grill him for exclusive scoop about Chuck‘s third season. And then as a thank you, you hook him and a friend up with house seats to South Pacific and let him have one of your 2009 Smurfs (he picked the cameraman).
The video’s after the jump!

Sarah working at Subway is a dumb idea. The whole premise of her cover is that she can disappear at will because the Weinerlicious and OO were always empty. I can’t believe that Subway would want to portray one of their stores as being always empty.
Chuck is one of the few shows my whole family makes a point to watch. It’s very entertaining and we get invested in the lives of the characters. Many kudos to Subway for their support! We have decided to make Monday’s Subway night for dinner when Chuck comes back this fall. I hope many other fans will join in and show their support.
This made my day! Love him! I agree that TV networks would be better served if they went to shorter seasons. It’s those filler episodes that most people complain about anyway.
Best part of the interview is the Gymkata poster in the backgrund. It’s awesome.
Please tell me the facial hair is going to be in the new season? I’m beagging you!!!
Ok well that wasn’t super interesting, blessed Zach can be a bit long winded. but still CHUCK 4LYF.
That was a breath of fresh air. How can you not love Zachary Levi? I have my red sharpie and my calendar and am marking off the days until Chuck returns.

How about a transcript for all the deaf CHUCK fans!

Mike–You’re my hero! Was hoping you weren’t going to hold this until closer to the season premiere!Haven’t heard anything bad about Zach. Seems like a great guy. He seems to appreciate what everyone–critics & fans have done. Personally, hope something new crashes & burns–like Leno so we can have Chuck by Thanksgiving.
Yay, Chuck! And yay for Zachary Levi being such a cool guy.
Gooo Zac! Thanks for the posting the interview Mike, and you’re right, he is prince-among-men! He seems so genuinely nice and humble. Thanks for supporting Chuck!
Crazy-ass facial hair AND interesting, thoughtful answers??? I feel bad, Ausiello — I didn’t get YOU anything!
Oh, I *heart* Zachary Levi. He seems like such a genuinely kind individual with a great appreciation for the people he works with and the fans. I hope NBC gives “Chuck” a full 22 episodes, and I agree with Zachary Levi that this “one major sponsor” scenario will likely be the future of television.
