    For someone trying to make it back in to America’s hearts as something other then being looney tunes, Whit dropped the ball and should’ve done the part. She probably thinks she’s too good for Glee but her current album sales should tell her otherwise. When you’re no longer remembered as ‘the amazing singer in Bodyguard’ and instead thought of as ‘that crazy chick talkin about how crack is whack and she only does high end drugs’…yeah, get your nose out the air Whit.
    Eve will do just fine (but I think they should’ve stuck with the old school diva theme of the part and asked Aretha Franklin or Patty LaBelle)

    wow I’m so happy Eve got this! She is mostly a rapper, but she actually does have quite an amazing singing voice! I can’t wait to see her in this and i can’t wait to get her new album!

    I dont think Whitney turned this down just to be a diva. Maybe it was scheduling conflicts. She has to promote the new album and her career is riding on that!! As a long time fan of Whitney and new fan of Glee, I’m sorry to hear that the two are not “meeting” this time around. I’m sure down the line maybe a season finale or something is possible.

    I like Eve, but would have preferred a SINGER, not a rapper with TV experience. But good luck to her just the same :-)
