Big Love producers are hard at work on Season 4. Woo-hoo! The first task? Casting two pivotal new roles. They are…
Christie: Barb’s pre-teen niece and Cindy’s daughter. A real hellion.
Dale: An empathetic closeted gay Mormon. A partner in a big 8 accounting firm, he will become the new Trustee of the Juniper Creek Assets and (presumably) a love interest for Albie!
Both roles are recurring. Got casting suggestions? Post ‘em below!

I thought Cindy only had one adopted daughter? …I need to rewatch last season…
Dale – Jack from Will & Grace – we haven’t seen him forever!
Oooohh Jay Mohr for Dale. Although, is his lame show still on the air…?
Jason Priestly for Dale?
Christie should have the look of someone like a Michelle Trachtenberg type… but clearly younger. Abagail Breslin is probably too big of a name, but might be a good choice. And the Fanning sisters are always an obvious choice for young actresses… Also, the middle daughter from “Dan in Real Life” might work! I forget her name.
I also only remember one daughter for Cindy – the adopted one. I thought she could not have children.
I believe Cindy has two other kids in addition to an adopted daughter – there was an episode, in the first season when Cindy was bragging to Barb about her overachieving children, a boy and girl, who are both older than the adopted daughter.
Neil Patrick Harris for Dale
I just hope we get to see it soon! I love this show!
Friday Night Lights’ Zach Gilford (aka Matt, former QB1) would be great as Albie’s love interest.
Zach Gilford of Friday Night Lights would be perfect as Albie’s love interest.
Wasn’t it Cindy’s daughter that asked Bill if his “apostasy brought him happiness” at Barb’s mother’s wedding? I know it’s wasn’t the adopted daughter. (I loved when Bill told her to shut up!)
I have no suggestion for the daughter that isn’t a complete cliche, but how about Tom Verica for the male part? (played the father on American Dreams, has made appearances on Grey’s & Lie to Me, etc.) He’s old enough to support the “partner in the accounting firm” deal, but still young enough to appeal as the closeted gay male. thoughts?
Gale Harold of course!
Here in Brazil we have a schedule of Big Love. A similar production is what we Malhação through a series of Globo Network Television very nice dealing with such issues as pre-adolescents. As real-life characters portrayed on screen as real pmatheus of evil. Finally the series is good. How do you have a copy of Gig Love? On Youtube it? Abraços
