Ratings: MLB All-Star Game tops 'America's Got Talent'

America’s national pastime defeated America’s amateur talent pool Tuesday night, as 14.6 million viewers tuned in for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Fox. (Sports fans are certainly consistent: That’s nearly identical to last year’s audience.) America’s Got Talent was the evening’s second-most watched program, with 13.5 million viewers, up 27 percent from last Tuesday.

I can’t believe Better Off Ted actially went up in the ratings. (lol) Though not a good number, increasing viewers is a good thing. I was watching Big Brother but I turned to Better Off Ted as soon as the girl from the brainiac team started crying because she got nominated for eviction. Wow, really, really childish. The camera actually zoomed in on her quivering lips as she lay on the bed with her head covered by her hoodie. I just couldn’t endure any more than five minutes of that crap!
Superstars however is getting better and better each week. Like Japanese Game Show, the pressure gets more intense and the competitive juices get more pronounced and before you know it, you’ve got a battle on your hands and great entertainment. I hope it continues to get better and better each week up to the finale.
