What I’m happy about: Knowing this is the last chance Boston Legal will have to outrage me.
What I’m most mad about: Kevin McKidd and Justin Chambers getting snubbed due to the last year of Boston Legal

Pissed about FNL being completely snubbed, especially Kyle Chandler. Would have like to have seen January Jones and Katherine Heigl be nominated over Elizabeth Moss and Chandra Wilson.

  • Fred

I agree with most of the list, but I’d like to add a we things:
    I’m Super-Ecstatic About:
-Lost getting back into the Best Drama category
-Justin Timberlake getting a nom for his outstanding SNL hosting
    Yawns to:
Mariska Hargatay gets another nom. Really?
    I’m Super-Pissed About:
-No acting love for Josh Hollaway or Elizabeth Mitchel from Lost
-No love for BSG in ANY major category
-COMPLETELY agree on the lack of Chuck love

Battlestar Galactica getting a snub for the acting categories. I know it is sci-fi, but, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better *drama* on TV last season.
Am thrilled to see a Whedon work in one of the “18 words for a name” categories….”Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog!”

Where is the Chuck love?!? Emmy awards are rigged! WTF! Chuck and cast shouldve at least got nominated. Some shows on that list are so crappy it’s a huge surprise they made the list.

  • joana

    Neil Patrick Harris!!!!!
    How I Met Your Mother!!!!!!

  • wackjob

Delighted that “House” and Hugh Laurie got the nod. But I agree, Lisa Edelstein deserves a nom, and so does Robert Sean Leonard! And what about the rest of that incredible cast? (Excluding Olivia Wilde, who can’t act her way out of a paper bag.)

Grey’s didn’t get the recognition it deserves at all. Glad KH didn’t get a nomination though… that would have pissed me right off. If she got one and Ellen Pompeo didn’t. Oh… there would have been a riot alright. LOL.
And no nomination for Ellen Pompeo or Patrick Dempsey. Are you kidding me! Gosh… if Patrick can’t get one, how do they expect Justin Chambers to get one? :S
    It’s just wrong.
Why does Ellen get snubbed every year? She’s AMAZING!
I am happy for Sandra Oh, and Chandra Wilson. But they’re supporting actress regulars these days. Yey for the make up nominations. For both normal and prosthetic.
I think Tyne Daley and Eric Stoltz should have got nominations for Guest stars though. Now Sharon Lawrence who played Robbie Steven’s… Izzie’s mom.
I hate awards shows. The actors/actresses/shows fans think deserve credit never get it.

    No Cobie Smulders. :(

  • joana

    Neil Patrick Harris!!!!
    How I Met Your Mother!!!!!

Well as far as I’m concerned the omission of Chuck from the list pretty much signifies the lack of credibility of the Emmy’s.
The writing is awesome, the lead cast are awesome- very dissapointing.

  • Josh M

Callie Thorne, Walton Goggins and Josh Holloway should sue.
And can anybody really argue “Family Guy” is superior to “South Park?”

  • noam

are charlie sheen, jon cryer, and tony shaloub permanently tattooed to the emmy nominee list? are they actually evil-doers who threaten the lives of kittens, puppies, and baby seals all over the world if they don’t get nominated? do emmy voters get some kind of kickback for nominating them? i’m thinking one of these things MUST be true, or zachary levi, jason segel, and lee pace would have totally been nominated. also, i know mariska hargitay fought a collapased lung this year, but damn! connie britton fought a jumbotron! AND blinged out katie mccoy! and buddy garrity! she deserves something for that. onwards to golden globes hopes.

  • Jenna

my main complaint is that Simon Baker got nominated for The Mentalist.
James Roday should have gotten a nomination before Baker!
but is there ANY Psych on the list? NO! not even in a weird category like..lighting!
and technically, Chuck did get a nom:for STUNTs! wish they got a real nom but its better than nothing i guess.
ps: yay for HIMYM and not 2.5 Men!

I’m sick of seeing Sandra Oh get nominated EVERY year…Such a waste of a nom. She’s good but this wasn’t exactly her season. If she didn’t get a win during the 3rd season, it’s prob not happening for her. Leave her off the nominations sheet.
I’m most pissed off about Elizabeth Mitchell being snubbed again. She was snubbed last year which was a shame, but this year too?! What gives? She’s better than most of the nominees.
LOVE Chandra Wilson though – She makes Greys for me.
