Best TV news I’ve heard in awhile. Sara is one of the best characters on TV. I also highly doubt that TPTB would bring her back after a Grissom breakup. It makes no sense. The ending was epic, and I think that she’s likely pregnant and having to get out of the jungle.
    Heh.

Happy to see her back… for now I’m back on board for CSI… as CSI sans Grissom and Sara didn’t hold my attention (and I’ve tried believe me the new characters of Langston and Riley just don’t do anything for me… no offence to the actors playing them)… as long as the writers don’t mess with the essence of the characters and leave that wonderful 9×10 ending intact I’ll be a loyal viewer again…but mess with them and I’ll be gone for good!

I’m a casual viewer but I never liked Sara Sidle and I’m not exactly jumping for joy at her return.

So does this mean her movie career just didn’t pan out and she’s running out of cash?

      Yessss…

Love having Sara back. Have watched all shows after Grissom left, there are a bunch of new writters–most shows were OK. Now, do you guys honestly think that tptb would actually break Sara and Grissom up? Not good for ratings, and the show needs some. LF has a contract for only 2 years. Billy Peterson didn’t leave because he wanted to be in movies—he wanted to go back to theatre. He is now doing “BLackbird” in Chicago and is getting rave reviews. He and Jorja are friends–he was there opening night of the play she producted after leaving CSI. By the way, Jorja is going to be in the new show Drop Dead Diva, it was put together by an ex-CSI writter. Watched it last Sunday and it was ok.
Also, tptb might be thinking about DVD sales–with no Grissom in season 10–would people still by the DVD? Also, CBS must have wanted Jorja back, they would have the last say on the matter.

The worst character on TV. When she is on the screen I feel like someone is dragging their nails on a chalkboard. I thought last season was one of the best. The shows where more engaging. I was looking forward to the new year, but not anymore.

CSI’s falling ratings is why she is returning.

I am so glad to hear this. I have loved Sara’s character for a ong time. I enjoyed to blossoming of the attraction between her and Grissom. I wish he was returning also but maybe later. I hope the the pregnancy comment is correct instead of a break-up. I also would love warrick’s character to return somehow. No affense but Grissom’s gang is the best team of all. Sanders, Nick, even Hodges was a hoot. The team was great the setup of the new show I didn’t like. Great news and I am now looking forward to the New season with fresh old style. Hurrah!!

So happy to hear this. I haven’t watched much since Jorja left, but will definitely be tuning in again. Hope to see Petersen back with her. I thought they were great together!

Doesn’t sound permanent. Reminds me what Noah Wyle has done during last years of ER. Now I’m curious on why Sara is coming back and have to watch again.

Yuck, I was so happy this season without her. Don’t like her and her character at all. When she left, I thought thank goodness. I love Grisson/Peterson. I saw him in an early Twilight Zone, (1960′s??), and even then he was very good. I also don’t like the Willow character, that one year when she had injections in her lip to make ‘em bigger, backfired and she ended up with lopsided lips made her so ugly, she looked like she had a permanent sneer. I can deal with Willow but not Sara too. Keep her off the show! Please!

  • dianna

I agree with the Yuck comment. I HATE Sara and I really really really hope she’s not back for good. I’m already a little disapointed in the show without Grissom so far (not because he’s not in it but because they show Lawrence Fishbourne’s character more than any of the others) and this would make it worse. I would really hate to have to stop watching the show cause it really is one of my favorites.

Sara sucks. Grissom and Sara together sucks even worse. The end.

  • Lou

Never liked her on CSI and probably never will. May have to start changing the channel.

  • katie
