Killer 'Dexter' scoop: Is the end near?

I know you probably don’t want to hear this, but Dexter is eventually going to die. “It can’t last forever,” concedes leading man Michael C. Hall. “The show is like a shark. It has to keep moving forward. And if it runs out of things to eat it’s going to die.” Until then, you get to enjoy exclusive video interviews like the one below. Shortly after receiving a superhero’s welcome at Comic-Con, Hall dropped by EW.com’s suite at the Hard Rock to chat about season 4, the upcoming Dexter prequel, and Showtime’s “creepy” ad campaign. Watch the complete interview after the jump. And to see more of my Comic-Con videos, and other interviews and panels, head over to our Con hub.

Wait, Deb can look into her dad’s old CIs all she wants, Deloris destroyed all the files and traces back to Dexter’s life and how he ended up a Morgan and a serial killer. I think there are going to be serious plot holes if anything otherwise is written into the show.

Responding to Stacerella – Camilla (the file clerk) didn’t destroy everything.
Laura’s CI file is still intact and her details – including her address, where Brian tried to kill Deb – is still on the database, because that’s how Dexter found it.
Jiminez’ file with details of Laura’s murder wasn’t destroyed, because Dexter saw that.
The tapes where Harry interviews Laura weren’t destroyed, because Dexter listened to them. No doubt Deb will listen to them as well.
There are probably Brian’s psychiatric records and hospital birth records too.
Plus Deb could find out from Rita that Dexter’s mother was murdered and make the connection to Laura that way.
So, I don’t see how Deb WON’T find out about the connection between Brian and Dexter. She’s not stupid, and the information is out there.

Oh, how I adore Dexter. If this show is a shark then keep feeding it because its one of the best shows on air.
