'Big Bang Theory' video: The cast being cute and funny

Squeeze the entire cast of CBS’ The Big Bang Theory onto a tiny couch together and you never know what might happen. In the case of the video below, tons of sweet and funny interplay happens as the quintet field questions about the size of Jim Parsons’ ego in the wake of his Emmy nod, how next season’s Penny/Leonard romance will impact the balance of power on the show, and why I can be heard but not seen during the entire interview. I can answer that last one right now: Technical glitch! The fun begins after the jump!

YAY BIG BANG THEORY! I absolutely love that show and have watched it since episode one! I am glad to see that they really are chums in real life!

  • Andressa

They’re so cute! I love TBBT.

  • CHAD

Love them all, Jim Parson is just Awesome. the show is awesome, plenty of times it is MUCH funnier than How i met your mother, Can’t wait for the new season!

    • JY

I totally agree that Big Bang Theory is better than HIMYM!

    • Isembard

HIMYM started out funny, but it really kind of bores me now. BBT is always hilarious. It’s gotten to the point that I look forward to Mondays just so I can see the gang. Love them, love them, love them.

      • Joy

I love both shows. I think BBT is much funnier as well, but I like HIMYM more. I think you can’t even really compare the two because the comedy is different (even though I just did compare them!).

      • Nadine

Both shows are my favorite comedies right now. Totally agree w/you Joy. BBT is more lol and HIMYM has better storylines and relationships. Love HIMYM’s overall “umbrella” story.

  • Lee

I agree with Kaley and Jim Sheldon and Penny are more the sibling type for me, and that is how i love them. it would be creepy but I love Kaley’s idea of a nightmare scene

  • Watts

Jim Parson is the greatest – went to Klein Oak High!!! The whole cast is hilarious

    • BOB COBB

Yeah!! Houston Represent – H -town!!!!!!

      • Stella

HTOWN WHERE IT GO DOWN!!! Whaaaaa!

  • alex

LOVE it! They are too cute.

  • Flyer

These guys are great! I wish the interview could have been longer, actually.

  • Nic.

I agree with Flyer–I wish the interview was longer, too. They seem very genuine and appear to get along well. Can’t wait for the new season to start!

  • Debbie

I hope the season 2 dvd includes cast commentaries. I was bummed there weren’t any on season 1.

  • Javier

Sheldon needs to hook up with Penny. They have the best chemistry on the show.

    • Isembard

Yipes, no. Just because two characters have great chemistry doesn’t mean they need to have sex. The crux of their relationship hinges on the fact that Penny isn’t intimidated or as willing to put up with him the way his other friends are; she’s more like a mother who understands how to deal with a “bad” kid. Add to that Sheldon’s clear asexuality, and it just won’t/can’t happen. It would be the death knell for the show.

Great video…great show. It’s poised to become the next big hit comedy, which is great because it’s so funny and the cast is terrific.

  • nunnya

    Best show on TV!!!!

  • Nycki

love them, but the video is “unavailable” :(

  • em

    Awesome interview! TY

  • Jane

The guy all the way on the left, I forget his name and his characters name (long day, is the first guy I’ve seen that can pull off a moustache. He looks hot! Ok, I need sleep.

    • Dave

That’s Kunal Nayyar, the British actor who plays Raj. I didn’t think Johnny (Leonard) and Simon (Howard) did too bad a job either with their moustaches. After all, they’ve been at the North Pole for 3 months. So was disappointed that Jim (Sheldon) didn’t have facial hair…

      • YaZ

Well Jim did ask to be allowed to shave prior to the Emmy nomination ceremony. In an interview after the ceremony where he is being congratulated for his nomination (Jim FTW) he mentions that due to the character’s stay at the arctic they would return sporting facial hair. Now Emmy nominations took place a week prior to the SDCC therefore Jim had very little time to grow facial hair and he also has stated he has trouble doing so or getting a nice scruffy look going, so hence the lack of it.

      • Isembard

Funnily, it seems very in character that our little Shelly wouldn’t put up with something as dramatic as facial hair!

      • anney

Kunal is not British, he is from India. Hence the Indian accent.

      • kiki

Actually, Kunal is British, born in London, raised in India.

      • Jane

Shows how far I’m behind on the show, I didn’t even know about the North Pole plot. Love this show though and love the cast!

      • bootsycolumbia

All the guys are way hotter with their beards. I hope they keep them for at least a few episodes. Even though Jim shaved in order to present the Emmys (congratulations, btw), I just think it fits with Sheldon’s character that he would insist on shaving, even in the North Pole.
