'Bones' crossover scoop: First Stewie, now Lightman?

Tags: , , News

Ausiello-Bones-Lie-Me_lHere’s further proof that brain tumor-afflicted Booth will be on the mend this fall on Bones: The next Fox character who visits him will be a flesh-and-blood human, not an animated talking baby.

Sources confirm that Fox is toying with the idea of staging a crossover next season that would find Booth and Brennan working on a case with Tim Roth’s Lie to Me doc Lightman. The insider cautions that it’s in the very early stages and “may not even happen,” which is even more reason for me to get this out there now before the whole thing falls apart!

Thoughts? You tired of Fox’s other properties invading the sacred ground that is Bones? Or do you come from the “the more the merrier” school of thought? Sound off below!

Yes! I knew there was a reason why I caught up “Lie to Me”. A crossover between the two would be PERFECTION.

    Make it happen NOW!

  • Lexi

I completely LOVE the idea!!! Fox should definitely go for it :D

  • Hannah

It should be House or Fringe!!

    • Monica

YES! YES! YES! These are my 3 favorite shows, It would be SOOOO cool to get these three together somehow!!!

    • Allan

House vs. Bones? Could you imagine the dialogue between the two? Maybe House could also tell Angela where to get off, too!

    • Nic.

I LOVE the idea of a House and/or Fringe cross-over. I can only imagine the dialogue between House and Walter. Priceless!

    • Aiden

Bones and House, no doubt about it! First thing that came to my head as well. Two great shows here.

      • J Lo

Actually – I always thought a crossover House-Lie to me would be perfect. The guy who thinks everyone lies paired with the guy who can actually tell when someone lies? Genius.

I think house or fringe is a better idea, We got rid of tv awile ago and we make sure that someone will record bones for us so we dont miss it and we dont even know who lightman is but we have heard and ive seen a couple episodes of house and Fringe and i think one of them would be much better because more people have heard of them

    • Amanie

yeah it should so be House or maybe Law and Order svu sooo kewl ooo or In Plain Sight so kewl!!

Why would FOX crossover to a show that’s NOT on FOX?? Cause they wouldn’t, come on

  • kat

ever since the first episode of lie to me, ive been dying for a cross over with bones! How great will the interactions and skepticism be!

  • Cass

Starting to get into “Lie to Me” a little, but not quite ready for another “Bones” crossover, especially with a show that doesn’t quite meet its caliber. Maybe toward the end of Season 5… First I need some pure, uninterrupted “Bones.”

  • Don J

Makes sense to me. Both shows are produced by FOX and both shows air on FOX and take place in Washington DC. Hopefully FOX (the network), Hart Hanson and Shawn Ryan can work it out.

  • Kevin

YES!!! If it falls apart, it is up to you, Michael, to piece it back together and make it happen. Your smurfs may get it if you fail.

  • lilybilly

Definitely would like to see this happen. Those are two of my fav shows ! That would be awesome

  • Danny

I would love to see this happen… but not yet. I think Lie to Me needs to establish itself more as a show before it crosses lines with the wonderful hit show Bones.

  • Pete

I’d rather not see a crossover. The shows are too different and forcing them together would just scream shameless cross promotion.

  • chattypatra

I think it is a brilliant idea. Hopefully, it will be a two-hour episode. I can already imagine Bones’ reaction to the “Lie” team.

  • Kermonk

My thoughts? My thoughts are that you just made that up because you have no real stuff to post *g*

Apart from that, I’d think could work out fine.

  • Carol

Yes, great idea. I love both shows.

  • Branr

Pure Awesomeness, I had that idea while watching LTM last season.

  • Dave Walker

Lightman and Brennan together! Oh yes please! Even better Booth and Torres, true love in the making.
