Breaking news from the Television Critics Assoc. press tour in Pasadena, Calif.: HBO just announced that it has picked up True Blood for a third season. Entourage and Hung also received one-season pickups. All three series are slated to return next summer. Additionally, HBO confirmed that Curb Your Enthusiasm will launch its 10-episode seventh season on Sept. 20.

Entourage needs to go the hell away,what an unfunny horrible mess and Adrian Grenier is a major tool. Get a new haircut,douche.
True Blood, I just can’t get into. Alan Ball has issues with sex and it’s distracting in all his works. Hung, I’, ecstatic over. It isn’t great, but it has so much potential and Thomas Jane is slowly turning Ray into a very real person. And obviously Jane Adams as Tanya Skagle is the best part of the show.
Honestly, are they serious about Entourage? Seriously? That show is so far past its expiration date, its like 6 week old milk. E in HD looks like hes 35 going on 50, they havent had a new storyline since midway through season 1, and Adrian Grenier undercuts the entire show with his lack of acting ability (thus making it ludicrous that Vince would ever be a blockbuster star, what has Grenier ever been successful in BESIDES Entourage?). Please give this show the mercy killing it deserves. Oh, and Hung is beyond tedious, I really wanted to like it, but god is it boring.

Hung is not that great or deserving and Entourage needs to retire big time. Get some new shows already HBO! I hope the new Diane Keaton one is good!
What about Big Love? Or do we have to wait for it to come back for it’s next season to see if it will be renewed beyond that?
Big Love was renewed; it was quietly announced several months back. I’m also a big fan.
Give Entourage some credit. It’s characters are so likable and anyone who’s watched the show, knows each character’s personality, making the show that much more fun to watch. And c’mon, how can you not laugh at Johnny Drama?I agree it’s not as good as it used to be, but as a 20+ minute show- It does it’s job

Agree, Entourage started out dumb and boring and never improved. But disagree on Curb. It passed Seinfeld as my favorite show ever. Different strokes for different folks.
