Kind of funny, back when the Twilight trailer first came out, I obviously had been living under a rock and had never heard of the Stephenie Meyers’ books, I actually assumed that they were making a movie based on TVD. Agree that Forbidden Game, Dark Visions, and Secret Circle all would have made better series.
i think Ausiello has a crush on Ian Somerhalder, he seems really upset that he wasn;t there
I would’ve been too if I was him. He would have been the one thing that would have had me excited about TVD panel.
Yeah genius Alexander is from SWEDEN he has the accent for a role.
It doesn’t matter that the VD books came out before the Twilight books; the Twilight films & the True Blood show were both popular as the VD show was being created, and, yes, with the changed characters & storylines and the supreme lameness demonstrated so far for VD, I can state with a reasonable level of certainty that THIS version of VD IS a ripoff of Twilight & True Blood.
First off I love L J Smith and all her books, much better writer than Meyer. I think that Smith’s Night World Series would have been better in a tv show. I hope and pray that they never try and make a Secret Circle anything because they it could never live up to the books.
Oh that would be wonderful if Ian was missing the panel to film Lost. Seriously, he is the only reason I am watching this show.
THE CW PUBLICITY DEPT NEED A KICK UP THE ASS..THERE IS ZERO PRESS ON THIS SHOW OR THE ACTORS…WHY NOT PUT IAN SOMERHOLDER IN VMAN, DETAILS, GQ????
Ian, where are you?!! I really hope you were filming Lost.
ok this is stupid vanessa hugens or who ever that is should no play elena they are plety of blondes out there to play her why the brunnet?
Because she’s gorgeous and she oozes charisma! It’s only a hair colour…
So excited this is coming to tv!! I just finished reading this again and saw the add on chennel 88 GO! that it is coming, OMG!!! WOOHOO!!
Anything that has vampires in it is gonna be labeled a Twilight ripoff, whether it preceded it or not. And despite the fact that they’ve got it completely backwards. Meyer got the idea for it in a dream, which kinda proves that. My theory is that she read some vampire book or another (maybe these), watched some Buffy reruns, got drunk and took a nap. God knows where she got the sparkles…
OK, so this show might be interesting, but the BEST things about Sept. 10 will be the return on SUPERNATURAL!
Ok, 1st hair color does matter, because if you are like me…when I read a well written book, your mind plays it out as you read. So when the book comes out in production, at least the characters need to be right. And the scenes leading to the plot should not be rushed (like in Twilight), because then everything from then on seem to be disappointing!!
Really? Another show about vampires? Is this necessary?
