    What seems to be forgotten is that the British version of Idol has always had four judges. Originally, there were supposed to be four judges on this show.

    If anyone cares, I always thought Sheila E was the best judge to replace Paula. She’s coherent and actually has something to say.

    The loss of Paula Abdul may not seem that earth-shattering, but the Three Stooges were never the same after Curly left either… Dump Kara, give Paula what she wants and salvage the chemistry that made that judges panel so entertaining. The dozens of wannabe shows that failed have proven that people tune in for more than the amateur talent competition. I have to say though, I would love to see Sharon Osborne involved in some way. I love that lady.

    3 judges only, one with musical talent that is or has been a musician, one singer that is or has been a performing artist/vocalist, one record industry executive that is or has been involved in the making of records. ie: engineer etc. etc.
