3:47 pm: Lawrence says Cougar Town employs more female writers than probably any comedy on TV.
3:48 pm: Cox’s character won’t be shagging a different boy toy every week. Bottom line: Samantha Jones she’s not.
3:54 pm: Yes, that’s really Cox’s loose belly skin in the bathroom scene. Ditto the arm flab. Bottom line: She’s human!
3:57 pm: “I think it’s great to be a cougar, if that’s what it’s called,” says Cox. “I just don’t know what the [male version] of that is called. “A man,” cracks a male reporter in the audience.
4:03 pm: “Courteney plays comedy of discomfort really well,” says Lawrence, adding, “I told [her] this is a show of high risk, high reward…. I want to make this work for her.”
4:08 pm: Cox’s character will date men her own age as well, says Lawrence.
4:13 pm: Jennifer Aniston may guest star on Cougar Town. But there are no current plans for her to do so.
4:16 pm: Asked for his opinion about Ben Silverman’s exit from NBC, the outspoken Lawrence replies, “Can you say off the record to 230 people?”
4:17 pm: Lawrence is having a blast ribbing wife (and Cougar Town co-star) Christa Miller. His latest dig: “My wife is much older than me.” She’s taking each shot like a champ!

From the trailer I’m at least going to watch the first episode, which is more than I can say for any of the other new comedies I’ve seen advertised.

I hope this is a hit for Cox. She deserves it. She was fantastic on “Dirt”, even though the show was crap.

PLEASE lay off Katherine Heigl.Who knows what she meant by the comment she made. She clearly doesn’t need Greys like Greys needs her. Working 17 hours a day as an actor might, (MIGHT) be rough. Until you have owned 3 full line grocery stores and don’t have people who do their jobs correctly so you do their jobs to on top of which you have had rhuematoid Arthritis 15 years with crippled hands- while working 14-16 hour days and your co-owner is an abusive husband—stop whining PLEASE!!!!!
