    I think pairing him with anyone doesn’t make sense given that it’s a 24 hour day and during the craziness of it, squeezing it in gets messy and weird. That said, I think if Katee Sackhoff is going to be on this season, a connection between the two of them would be HOT. And it could have a past if she’s not new. It could also give him some good office interaction with her and if there’s a reason he has to go dark or need behind the scenes help, she’d be perfect for it.

    Why they are telling this to the 24fan that ? its not make any sense . I’d like Audrey more than Renee , so where is the point ? I don’t get it ! , so they end up season 8 from now !

    I liked Audrey but I felt that her story with Jack ended in season 6.

    Audrey was SO whiny and she is so last-last season!! Okay, she put her life on the line for Jack and deserves some credit, but Renee is much more like Jack. I think he needs a strong equal who can keep up with him, or he will remain alone. I don’t know if that person is Renee, but I like her better than Audrey.

    The Jack/Audrey story was the main reason why Season 6 was so bad! If you want romance watch Desperate Housewives! I’m thrilled she’s not coming back!!!

    No one Jack’s been paired with (however briefly) has really seemed right for him. I found Audrey so annoying, I was shocked to find I really liked Kim Raver in other roles! (She was very good in “The Nine” and good in “Lipstick Jungle,” too.) My dream is for Jack to hook up with someone like Ziva from “NCIS” — someone acquainted with the pain and stress of the spying life but capable of a relationship, too. Barring that, I guess I’d settle for a meaningful reconciliation between Jack and his daughter, and a hint of hope for he future.

    I liked Renee this last season…
    and it also would be interesting to see Audrey come back and give her a more conclusive ending.
    However, i think if this were real life, Jack would be destined to die alone xD…
    Im not saying “Kill him next season” but he might not be able to keep one love for the rest of his life xD
