It’s really quite simple: If you don’t like it don’t watch. I’m psyched about SEason 9!

    • PG817

Exactly… I don’t read articles about shows I don’t watch….why are these people not only reading and watching, but taking the time to comment on shows they hate?! Smallville is very entertaining and I am very excited for season 9 and beyond!

      • David4

To show the world that there are people who like intelligent TV and not this trash that is now 6 seasons overdue to be canceled.

Hell they aren’t even in Smallville most of the time anymore!

  • Chloeville

Some of the acting in this is laughable, and the overall recycled cheese factor is really really high.

I’m a bit disappointed that they don’t seem to be able to put together something that looks more engaging for their replacement Supermen arc. I’m very sick of watching Clark act like a tool.

But it’s just part and parcel with the disappointing Spoilers coming out of this zombie show.

David4, well congratulations! You get a prize for being so much smarter than the rest of us and coming on a stupid message board just to tell us how stupid we are for enjoying a show that we happen to love. ::rolls eyes:: Entertainment is subjective. If you don’t like the show, then seriously, just shut the hell up and don’t want it. We all have the right to watch it if we want. I stil enjoy the show very much and i’m glad it’s still on. Just shut the hell up.

I have watched Smallville sense it started and try very hard not to miss an episode but I regret to say I didn’t get to see last years finel episod and hate that I didn’t. But am looking forward to this season and I hope there will be a 10th as well.

  • Bobby

Love the show, but this should be the last season. Clark as Superman flying off to save the world should be the last scene we see and it should happen this season.

This trailer looks amazing! Tom Welling looks so gorgeous in that new costume, and I’m looking forward to watching his journey progress to the next level. And, Zod also looks good. Finally! A competent villain (and not a poor woobie victim) for the future Superman.

  • Snarf

    S9 is looking very promising.

  • deniz

This looks amazing!!Guess season 9 will rock our world. Thanks for posting this amazing trailer.

  • kristie

Dang, that looked awesome…I might actually watch this season!!! And I can’t believe they finally got Clark into clothing that’s a color besides blue, red and flannel!

  • Kay

Whoa. This looks really good. I still love this show. It has it’s ups and downs but I just really enjoy Tom Welling as Clark Kent. Read all the comics, saw all the movies, watched Lois and Clark in the 90′s…but honestly I love Welling in this role. He comes across so sincere as Clark. I’m so excited for Season 9. This show often has bumps in the road but they always manage to find their way back. I have no doubt that this season will be no different.

All I can say is “WOW”

Matthew, I have to disagree with that. I love Chloe. I really do. But I saw plenty of her last year. Sometimes too much. This is Clark’s show. He is the star. I’m tired of other supporting characters like Lana and Chloe taking his spotlight. I’m happy to see more Lois FINALLY. She was barely in half the episodes last year. She deserves more screentime this year and it’s about damn time. This is Clark’s show. Not Chloe’s. It’s not Lois’s either. She’ll have a big part from here no out because she’s his wife and a big part of his future. But it’s still Clark’s journey. He is the one most featured in the trailer and that’s the way it should be in my opinion

  • Matthew

    Not enough Chloe

    • Ida

      Agree.

  • Martin

    That looks awesome. Can’t wait.

The other posters are right. You’ll never please everyone, no matter what you do. Some would prefer a show refuse growth–both in storyline and character development–they want the season they loved the best to just repeat ad nauseum. Personally, I think the growth choices are brilliant. And nothing plucks at my heart like the unrealized relationship between Clark and Lois.

  • JAVIER

PUES SI NO TE GUSTA NO LO VEAS, SMALLVILLE ES LO MEJOR Y OJALA DURE 10 TEMPORADAS MAS PARTIDA DE ENVIDIOSOS

  • Carrie

Clark’s not Batman. I know the Nolan’s Batman movies are awesome, but they should never have been inspiration for a show about Superman. I would hope that this is the Eradicator, but as they couldn’t even kill Clark properly last year…

I miss Lex. Lex was actually a good villain. I had high hopes for Callum but he’s just so over the top that he’s not scary at all.

And it is really sad that SV has been dragged down to the same trashy 90210/GossipGirls nonsense. I can see soap opera crap on Lifetime or SOAPNet; Smallville should be showing me Clark being a hero, giving people hope.

  • Jennifer

This trailer was awesome! I can’t wait for the new season!
