I love true blood AND I love the books. The show does not follow the books exactly and that’s why I love it. It keeps me guessing and wanting more. If they were exactly the same it would just me monotonous. Can’t wait to see how this season ends. By the way bring on Eric and Sookeh.

It’s starting to get into Sopranos-level ratings!

I’m huge fan of the show and a have read all of the books. The acting is great and one of the main reasons to watch is Alex. Only one question, why don’t they included more nudity of Eric? They did of Bill :)

Mad Men + True Blood= Best shows on TV!

Great to see the ratings continue to climb. I definitely think the ratings boost had a lot to do with Eric and Eric/Sookie. Sookie’s fantasy got a lot of people talking about the show and had non-viewers take notice.

I have not read the books and probably won’t. I’m perfectly satisfied with the story Alan Ball is telling. The scenes with Eric and Sookie just gave me the creeps. I’ll still watch the show though since I have watched it from the 1st episode and just love it.

Where was the hunky interviewer? :) I agree there is a Huge gay fanbase and the hot men factor is a major draw for the show, plus the the gay character, cook and V-dealer is portrayed so well, probably my favorite character in season one. Eric and Bill getting together is not far fetched — I mean if you live forever I think you’d try most everything. I think season 2 has been a bit weaker than season 1, but count it due to sophmore slump, the show having to be rushed a bit due to its unexpected huge success, and I’m not thrilled with the Big Maryanne story-line. I generally don’t really like to see interviews/talk shows where actors are out of character (spoils the fantasy for me) but this was a good interview.

team bill all the way and the ratings are up because of all the actors not just because of eric sookie and bill are incredible

It’s easy the ratings keep going up because the show is pure genius with an amazing ensemble cast and incredible guest stars! I bet HBO is very happy with the little Vampire show that COULD!
