NBC will need all of its guns a-blazing to resurrect this show. It lost audience share big time from episode one. Re-tooling might help but I suspect this show is a is in trouble no matter what night they put it on.
NBC is falling apart. Doing away with really good dramas and showing empty reality shows one after another. I am down to watching NBC about 2 hrs a week. Leno will not get my time either. Keep up the good work AMC, TNT, A&E, FX
What made sense was Thursdays at 10pm not Jay Leno!!!!
It’s not about being afraid of Dollhouse or Medium. It could be any show in that time slot. It’s about letting Southland premiere by it self.No competition.I think it’s a GREAT idea.It is the best cop show since HOMICIDE Life on the Street and should be given a chance to succeed….Look at Numb3rs.Dramas can make it on Fridays and i hope Southland does.
Is it true that Amaury Nolasco is joining the cast?
Yes Amaury is joining the cast as Regina King’s new partner.
It would be a fine idea to release the season one dvd in advance of season 2 premiering, so those of us who have missed episodes can catch up and bring along some friends.
I would much rather watch Southland than either Dollhouse or Medium so I’m disappointed in the delay; Also I thought I saw an ad mentioning that Southland had been moved to 8:00 from 9:00. If this is true, is that because it may get a full season instead of ending its season in December before FNL returns to NBC in January since that show comes on Fridays at 9:00 also?
I think it’s hilarious that the new NBC show is worried about Medium when they said that it was past it’s prime and were going to get rid of it. Now that it’s on CBS suddenly NBC is moving their shows back lol
Southland is more of a Thurday night @ 9pm show – But if it is on after Friday Night Lights – I am there b/c both shows are great!
Medium will kick Southlands ass. Which is sad, cuz SL is good. BUT NBC deserves it.
Dollhouse is not a threat to Southland. Dollhouse pulls in lower numbers than Southland. About 1.5 viewers a show. Southland’s only competition would be Medium which both pull in about 2.4 viewers a show.
I really hope Southland dose well.
These are the same jerks that cancelled Life, another great show that wasn’t given the respect it had earned. NBC is a dead network.
