It’s the on-screen pairing Bones fans have been waiting for. No, not Booth and Brennan — Emily and Zooey! Bones is talking to Emily Deschanel’s movie-star sis, Zooey, about guest-starring this December!
“We’ve been looking for an opportunity to get the Deschanel girls together,” notes exec producer Hart Hanson, “but Zooey’s rockin’ career kept getting in the way.”
Assuming the scheduling can be worked out this time around, Hanson wants the star of this summer’s indie smash (500) Days of Summer to play (natch) a relative of Brennan’s. “We alluded to [her] having a cousin in Minnesota two seasons ago. I’d very much like to meet her in the Christmas episode.”

as long as it isn’t used for another device in the booth and bones storyline…you know cousin comes around gets interested in Booth, mild flirtation on both sides, Booth gets hurt, but in the end Booth picks bones

I kind of like the idea where Booth gets hurt!! Seeing a cousin who is somewhat similar to Bones, but just worldly enough…and poor Booth stuck between the two! Not necessarily relationship wise…but I can see a whole lot of funny quips and comments from the girls and Booth being left a little in the dust… of course the whole Jeffersonian team loves the cousin, but Booth just doesn’t get it… maybe envious of the cousin’s time with Bones? sorry… I get a little carried away… ^^I would really love to see two great actresses who typically play such unique characters on the same screen for an episode or two! Good luck to the writers!
Seconded! It’s already fairly obvious that the Angela/Booth/Brennan thing is for the same purpose. Tempe has so little decent family, it’s not necessary to put more drama in. I say go all the way and make the cousin gay or something and definitely not a threat–there’s no reason for Tempe to have to fight off both Angela (I do hope I’m reading the situation wrong or that they’re okay again fairly quickly, as I love the Ange/Tempe friendship) and her own family for “the man”. (Plus, my own quirky mind would find it funny if Zooey’s character hit on Ange, XD.)

Look, I really enjoy “Bones”. Fun to watch, ok acting and a fairly original storyline (amid all the forensic shows out there), But I strongly doubt if anything on TV could Make my day let alone my life.
