I am so mad that Neil is judging an ep of Idol- I hate that show so much but now I’ll have to watch it. I’ll watch anything Neil does, and for once am so looking forward to the Emmys!
3 of my biggest loves mentioned in one article: NPH, SYTYCD, and the EMMY’s. Wow, that was great.

NPH + NappyTab = awe.some.ness
NPH is wait for it…. legendary! Love HIMYM, loved him on the Tonys. Can’t wait until the emmys and his turn on AI. Heck Doogie Howser was must see tv at our house back in the day.
Can somebody please explain SYTYCD to me? I just don’t get it. Unlike Idol, there’s nothing substantial at stake. It’s not like these guys are competing for a lucrative career in the dancing industry or something. There’s just not rockstar-like opportunities in dance that could be a dream prize, right? So, why are people so into the show? Wouldn’t a weekly choreographed dance special be equally entertaining for people who like to watch dance? Or does the voting gimmick really add a lot to it? I just don’t understand this show or DWTS.
I think a quarter of a million dollars is pretty substantial. I salute you for being able to look at that amount of money as trivial.
There is a whole dance world out there that we know nothing about. SYTYCD enables previously unknown and talented dancers the chance to work with choreographers they might never have been able to before and opportunities that might never have been opened to them had they not been on the show. It’s not just the money; it’s those opportunities that are critical.
I believe I read, a few months back, that he was at AI with David and the kids. I agree, it is adorable…..What a cute family…..
Please please please let him sing Brand New Day or My Eyes.
I had enjoyed NPH in TV and movies. However, I had passed on How I Met Your Mother. When I saw NPH host the Tonies, I realized the quality of him as an entertainer. I have started to watch HIMYM and look forward to the Emmy Awards (for the first time in memory). His final performance on the Tony Awards was exceptional.
Ha! I knew Neil took Flynn and Javin (David’s twins) to the show but didn’t know they brought signs. I wish we had a picture of that; it would be too adorable for words.
I can’t wait to see that Playboy photoshoot, The Emmy’s and the Dallas episode of AI.
NPH FTW!
i dont think i could love NPH any more =]
Whoa, whoa, WHOA. NPH loves SYTYCD?????? I’ve just learned that it IS possible to love him even more than I did before!
Whitney – GREAT interview – thank you! NPH can do no wrong, as far as I’m concerned. And now knowing he is glued to his set watching SYTYCD just like me?? Well, ***sigh*** lol And, actually, I bet he did a great job judging AI – can’t wait to see it.
