    I love snakes! Awesome. I do not watch much TV since I’m always on the computer but I try to watch House.

    Wondering if he ever saw the video of the python getting a grip on the newscaster at some outdoor event? (google it – snake + newsman, probably)

    This image it so . . . House. David Shore. Hugh Laurie. I keep telling myself it’s just TV but there is an edge of dark genius that always makes you certain that you really don’t know what they will do or say next.

    I love it! The caduceus (symbol of the medical profession) interposed with House, is pure genius! And I love the play on words with “Snakes On A Plane”. Très Cool, mister Laurie.

    The Rod of Asclepius with one snake and no wings is actually the one used by the medical society and, according to Wikipedia, is often confused with the two snaked caduceus.

      Except, American medical and pharmecutical professionals adopted the caduceus in, I believe, the early 20th centure. You are correct that the other symbol is used is most countries/cultures outside of the United States. But, as Dr. House is an *American* physician, the usage of a caduceus is entirely appropriate.
