Casey Wilson was not good, she has that look where she’s very unnatural and forced on TV. Michaela was good and could have been developed better, but the writers probably had little use for her, especially when they write so much around Wiig. I haven’t seen anything funny from the 2 new girls and the one that cursed on air is a bit homely for television.
Watkins was the only one to attempt a true Barbara Walters impersonation – and she did it beautifuly. (Years ago there was Babwa Wawa but that was just a joke) She was darling and hilarious and was interesting in every character she did. What is Lorne’s problem?? He owes us an explanaion – taking away a very good actress and sticking on newbies that we have to watch doing Biker Chick stuff for hours on end. Bring back Michaela.
Unlike many of her cast mates, Watkins could do nuanced impressions. I looked forward to everything she did. I like Kristen but once you’ve seen that cashier, it’s enough. They don’t have to keep repeating it. Everything Watkins does is fresh. What do these two newbies have on Lorne that he kicked out a comic genius for them? It must be good.
Maybe David Letterman is black-mailing Lorne? (Stranger things have happened at the Bed Sullivan Theatre…..
Lorne Michaels doesn’t tell anyone what he really thinks, Michaela should know that already…it might have something to do with Jenny Slate being Jewish and Michaela is not…

beautiful, funny and extremely talented actress?
8 months later and Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad are terrible on this show. They have not come up with any good characters and totally bomb when they are featured in any skits. Michaela Watkins was brilliant, dropping her was a huge mistake.
