It’s either Booth and Brennan or House and Cuddy…I think Hart (Bones) had always planned the finale to be like that, so I think it’s House and Cuddy.

    • liz

After rereading the story, I thought the same thing. If the show that aired was the only concept for the finale, then there would be no need to change it. Also, the finale sets up this whole season.
I now think it’s not Booth and Brennan but rather a couple that shoud have gotten together in the finale but didn’t. I don’t really watch any other shows, so I don’t know who specifically.

Chuck and Casey? No? One can only dream.

  • Kermonk

    Cancel Chuck!

    • Brody

      Go away.

      sssss evil kermonk.

  • Lily

    Booth and Bones, of course.

Elliott and Olivia on L&O: SVU

Oh please not again House and Cuddy, this new found obsession about the world’s most annoying “ship” is really creeping me out. It’s been only pushed for not even two seasons anyway. No hook up at all, please! This show is not a relationship drama after all.

My Name Is Earl’s Randy and Catalina?

    Jason Dohring and Kristen Bell?

    • ShutUpRob

In that case: Lorelai and Luke. Warner Brothers owes us at least another season of the show.
      .
      – Rob — is bitter much

      • Courtney

Warner Brothers owes us so much more of that show!

      • sassy2009

Well the last season sucked so badly it deserved to die. Especially in relation to the season before (Think it was the previous one); I couldn’t wait to see each episode the year Marni Noxon was writing/directing.

  • Sharona

I would definitely go with Chuck and Sarah, or Booth and Brennan. Especially Booth and Brennan with the Moonlighting reference, since they tend towards that kind of heavy flirtation. House and Cuddy also came close, but House the show isn’t so dependent on the tension between those two characters, so I doubt it’s them.

I for one think the execs on whichever show this is talking about did the right thing. I can’t think of a single show that I’ve watched where the “will they or won’t they” relationship when it happened, didn’t ruin the show.

      The Office

      • sassy2009

        I third that.

    • Bubbles

      Agreed.

  • AJ

All clues point to Booth and Brennan. (And more’s the pity.)

Then again, FOX execs being douchebag killjoys isn’t exactly news to anyone, is it?

  • Vetinari

I think this refers to Bones. If not then House, but probably Bones.

  • Aileen

When I first read this my initial reaction was Chuck. They were the only couple close enough to getting that close and bonding. Yeah it can be house but really what obstacle do they have stopping them?

  • Emily

Booth and Bones. I don’t feel like House and Cuddy are as universally a fan favorite pairing and something like this reeks of FOX.

  • Jade

Blair & Chuck from Gossip Girl, that’s why the writers added the whole gay thing to Chuck’s character, GG should be over already…..

  • sandra

Um, seriously, House and Cuddy? Other than a bunch of Huddy fangirls no one is waiting for them to get together, on the contrary!
