Not to toot my own horn, but I was pretty much the only person on the planet to predict that Brian Cranston would win the Read the full post.

This is Michael C Hall’s year to win the Emmy. All I can say is Dexter, Dexter, Dexter!

  • Brock

I can’t fathom what Sarah Silverman is doing in there. Or Conchords. Or a few others. So want to see Neil Patrick Harris win. Chandra Wilson. Jim Parsons. Sally Field. Julia-Louis Dreyfus. Family Guy. :)

  • Allie

i think that alec baldwin will win for best actor in a comedy and hopefully house will win best drama!

  • KM

I really hope you’re right about Aaron Paul. Breaking Bad was amazing this season, and he really showed what he was made of.

  • bruno

no, you weren’t pretty much the only person on the planet that predicted brian cranston would win best actor last year. a lot of people were supporting and betting on cranston…you’re an idiot.

    • Cate

Whoever voted for Cranston over Laurie are idiots!!!!!

  • Leslie

I really want Elisabeth Moss to win (come on, some recognition for the Mad Men women!), but I don’t think it will happen.

  • Josh

Steve Carell was pretty amazing in Broke. I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes to him.

    • Kae

Agreed! I hope that you’re right!

    • Dawn9476

If Jim has to loose to anyone, let it be Steve since he has never won either.

  • L

Michael Emerson deserves a win for LOST. He is such a stellar actor who never fails to deliver. He was amazing and heartbreaking in this season of LOST…a hard thing to do for a supposed “villain”.

  • Stage Left

I agree with most of the picks except for “Supporting Actress in a Drama Series”. Sorry but Rose Byrne is taking home the trophy this year.

    • tim

Rose Byrne should have won last year. She is teriffic. Her role was not as well written in season 2, but I would be happy to see her win.

  • A

Oh please let Hugh Laurie win!! I need for him to win!

    • Cate

He’d BETTER get HIS Emmy this year – as much as I HATE the Emmy’s, he’d better get the Emmy he has deserved for FIVE years now!!!!!

      • A

I know, I really couldn’t care less about the Emmy’s but will tune in just to see Hugh hopefully win *fingers crossed*

  • Ronet

Aaron Paul is your best pick. I really hope he’s gonna win it.
Other than that.. i’m sick on 30 Rock and Mad Men.. and I doubt that Glenn Close will win again. Or did she won a golden globe?

  • Jackyblu

I posted about this on EW Front Row Forum…Bring something to eat and drink if you read it because it is LONG. Short of it is: Hugh Laurie may attend the show alone but he’d better go home with Emmy!
A British man staring as an American SO WELL that many who watch think he is not only an American, but versed in medicine as well… What do they call it when you can do that? Oh yeah…Great ACTING!

    • Mandy

I’m available Sunday! I’m only a few hours away (alright – 4 hrs to be exact). I have dressy black tie clothes…. He doesn’t have to go alone. He needs someone to celebrate with when he FINALLY wins!!!

  • pai

Were you also the only person to spell Bryan Cranston’s name wrong? ;)

  • MJ

I want Sarah Silverman to win just to see the audience reaction to her acceptance speech.

    • bob

      That would be funny.

  • Danny

Yikes, I disagree with so much. I would love, love, love for Weeds to get much-deserved love for their series-breaking fourth season. Finally, a show willing to REALLY shake things up and pull it off. MLP’s only competition should be the wonderful Toni Collete.

But, alas, 30 Rock probably will take it again. That hurts. Oh, and so does your ridiculous assertion that Damages was sub-par this season. Umm…in what capacity? That show, and Glenn Close, and the rest of the cast, were consistently fantastic and intricate in their storylines and performances.
