    I speculate that everyone that Jacob had touched in the past, will retain their memories. & that Sawyer will still love Juliet, but she won’t know him.
    I loved Season 5, & all the Time Travel. Hope we will learn more about our mysterious Island.

    I have a running theory the cliff notes of which go like this: Jacob’s cabin was his in name only. Jacob was never actually IN the cabin, and that the cabin was really just a cabin in name only. In actuality, it was a prison. Something that Jacob was able to trap the “Man in Black” in by use of Island magic and the grey ash. The Man in Black, who was able to escape the prison in the form of the smoke monster only and by appearing as those who have died on the island, did so to look for someone he could use to free himself from his prison, and kill Jacob. he found that person in Locke. My theory is that when “the man in black” became Locke, that Locke didn’t just die, but that he switched with “the man in black” and took his place as the prisoner in the cabin. So that when Locke went to the cabin with Ben in “The Man Behind The curtain” it was actually his trapped ghost he saw in the chair, and he was asking himself for “help”. “The Substitue” makes me think I’m on the right track…. but its LOST… so probably not ….

    I’m reasonably sure Faraday’s mother said that they needed a substitute for Chrstian Shepard which is the reason Locke’s body was even on the plane. So clearly Locke is the substitute.
