Good for Cherry! If only more show runners took fan opinions into account and realized getting a couple together (and it’s not like it’s soon! it’s been 6 years) isn’t the death of the show.

I LOVED IT. THANK GOD HE MARRIED SUSAN. KATHERINE JUST LOOK’S TO OLD TO BE WITH MIKE. I THINK IT WAS A GREAT START FOR THE SEASON.

    • marc

No he looks too old for her.

  • MIKE COLE

HERE IN AUSTRALIA WE WON’T SEE THIS EPISODE UNTIL FEB 2010…I AGREE THAT SUSAN HAS BECOME BORING..SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WRITTEN OUT INSTEAD OF EDIE , AS FOR MIKE WELL HE’S JUST A PANTY WAIST NOW…IT,S PROBABLY GOT ONE SEASON LEFT AS IT IS..AS FOR JUMPING 5 YEARS FORWARD…DIDN’T WORK…IF IT WASN’T FOR GABBY I WOULDN’T WATCH IT

  • peter

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Susan. I don’t understand the Teri Hatcher hate in the world. Susan and gabby are my consistent comic relief on that show. There actually is a character I really don’t like.

I am with you on Gabby’s niece. we needed a different actress. She’s like a Mischa Barton, but even a WORSE actress.

    • JRose48

I don’t think it’s the actress, it’s the storyline. I remember that actress from Cory In The House on Disney, she’s ok.

  • CK

Happily surprised. Susan is always about two steps from some neurotic disaster so there’ll be plenty of stories in the Mike-Susan wedding. Katherine being shunned and having a breakdown will make for some great scenes and they can finally utilze a terrific actress like Dana Delany to her full capacity.

What happened to Andrew?..I loved Shawn Pyfrom’s character back when he was an evil little Bitch!

    • For Real

I completely agree. Andrew is/was my favorite character. Shawn left the show tho. He will be back for guest spots, but he is not a main character anymore *sigh*. I miss him and his bitchiness!! BRING BACK ANDREW!!!!

  • Lauren

I really like it! Mike and Susan are great together, and the Katherine breakdown story seems very funny

  • THE CRITIC

WHO FREAKING CARES? THIS SERIES NEEDS TO BE AXED AND NO MORE HOUSEWIVES IT IS NOT ABOUT HOUSEWIVES WHAT ABOUT THE HUSBANDS? ARE THEY INVISIBLE? STOP THIS IDIOTIC SHOW BEFORE IT GOES OFF THE AIR FOR GOOD AND I AIMM TO MAKE SURE OF THAT HA! HA!

    • wendy12

Is this really Kanye West? what’s with all the caps. lol

    • me06

Your an idiot!!! If you don’t like the show why are you even on this site?

  • Chris

I’m thrilled that Marc Cherry went this way. Given how vocal he has been about Mike and Susan ending up together — and truly, that’s been obvious since the pilot — I would have hated it if Mike had married Katherine because I’d know it was going nowhere. I’ve long thought it ridiculous, in fact, that the show has kept pairing them with other people, when it’s obvious they’ll end up together. This is a good step, and I hope Marc will be true to his word and never break them up again. On-again-off-again is not novel or exciting. I think married couples can be plenty interesting and I look forward to seeing how the DH writers deal with this married couple. So pleased with this development.

I love Mike — it’s only through his amused blue eyes that Susan’s cutesy adorability becomes lovable. Should they be together? Yes. And Mr. Cherry, please give them some good material, some plot points beyond Susan tripping and spilling over the body of the latest person Mike’s accused of murdering.

  • auds

i think it’s funny (and kind of nice) that the shows 3 main couples are all now happily married. the only thing i think is utterly stupid about this new season is lynette’s pregnancy. i hope something happens and she doesn’t have anymore kids, cause after the chemo and with her age they’ll come out with some serious problems.

    • Kath

Yanno I was thinking about that.. She said she didnt love the babies so I think she’s going to lose them and then realize she did love them after all.

  • susie

Well I guess Gale Harold is definitely gone..after I saw that Mike married Susan I turned off the TV..no reason to watch it now without Gale!!!

    • marc

I’m not saying you couldn’t have Mike and Susan together but they should have used Gale talent more He has done great roles. Bad writing bad character development
      shame on you.

  • MandyB

    Those two do belong together.

I hate the Lynette Pregnancy storyline. Her husband was the most annoying person ever last night. She obviously is NOT happy being pregnant so why didn’t she tell him that?

    • Laurin

She did tell him. He just wouldn’t listen

  • belinda

I hate the implication that Katherine is the crazy one (because she had every right to be angry that her friend never spoke to her alone for weeks after the incident, and Susan stuffing someone into a closet? That’s crazy), so I hope they don’t go that way with her story, and I hate Susan and Mike together. They belong together in the sense that I care NOTHING about either character and wouldn’t want to wish them on any other character on the show.

  • CeCE

Marc Cherry is the opposite of David Shore.
