    Kyle Schmidt

    • zville123

I’d go for Kyle if he bulked up.

      • charlie

if you are talking about the guy from Blood Ties, I’d say he’s a better Quinn than Alcide. he’s got the grace and humor for Quinn for sure. (of if you wanna play the pretty boy card have we see Sophie’s ‘assistant’ yet. )

      • jasmin

On the Blood Ties track…Christina Cox would make a snarky Debbie Pelt

  • MM

Alcide is young and his youth is important to the story as it develops. I love your ideas but most are way too old for the part. I’m thinking Jared Padalecki would be perfect – Alcide is big with shaggy, wolf hair just like JP. But, I think they’re filming TB season 3 before SPN will be done for its season.
It’s a shame Wentworth Miller signed on with L&O because he would be pretty spot on for the role too.

    • Tarc

Wow, I don’t see either of them in the role in any way, shape, or form. Alcide is a manly man, and the guys you mention are young, trim, and a little on the girly side.

  • candy

    Taylor Kitsch!!! would be excellent

    • Loves!

Ooh. LOVE the idea of Taylor. Too Young?

    • Mary Q. Contrary

YES!!!! But he’ll probably be busy with FNL and movies. He’s said that he’ll stay with Friday Night Lights til the end, because they gave him his big break. But WOW. He is so perfect. And yummy!

  • Ryan

All of your options are either too old or too young for the role, I’d say. The only real possibility of the ones listed is Henry Cavil (who I had never thought of before but now I actually think he’d be a good option). My one true preference for the role of Alcide would be TOM WELLING. But he’s a little busy. :[[

  • luke

the male lead from friday the 13th remake would be perfect.

  • candy

what about Sawyer from Lost…. He is tall, middle aged, sexy and has the body

    • charlie

but Alcide isn’t ‘middle aged’. he’s early 30s.

  • Gigi

Joe Manganiello should play Alcide. Rugged, broody, sassy,age-perfect and BUILT! I always pictured him playing Alcide when i read the books. Somebody call his agent!!!!

  • kylla

Karl Urban as sexy werewolf = my personal fantasy

  • JRose48

None of these guys say Alcide to me. Can’t think of anyone else, but none of these guys fit (and not Sam from Supernatural either).

    • JRose48

I take it back. I had no idea who Henry Cahill was. I’m changing my vote to that guy.

  • Snarf

    Steven Strait. Yum.

    • Lina

yessss you get my vote, Steven would be perfect, if not him then Henry C.

  • Bee

I was thinking of someone along the lines of Tahmoh Penikett ( Helo off BSG),or even Michael Rosenbaum. The dudes got a head full of hair now, and he can get pretty ripped from the look of it.

  • Samantha Delynne

    If its a comedy I’ll go/see it.

  • Cate

Henry kinda wins at life, so him… JDM could do it too, but he will always be papa Winchester to me…

  • Shannon

I agree with Taylor Kitsch all the way! If anyones seen Friday Night Lights or Wolverine they’ll know what I’m talking about. He’s the right age, build and look. Also I think Rodrigo Santoro would be good too. He’s Brazilian, pretty good looking and tall. He’d just have to beef up a bit more. Plus if he keep his accent for the show…sexy!

  • AlcidesGirl

I think Aidan Turner who plays Mitchell the vampire on BBC’s Being Human would make a perfect Alcide!

    • Shannon

Diddo…Aidan is very sexy and I love him as Mitchell on Being Human, but I think he’s probably busy doing that. Or maybe he could do both!!! :)

      • AlscidesGirl

Shannon, I’ll cross my fingers with you that he can do both!

    • MG

Yes! I was just thinking this! He’s slightly olive skinned, right age, great hair….perfect!

    • Tarc

Now, there’s the first good suggestion I’ve seen.

    • Amy

brilliant idea. And I think they’re filming being human at the moment so they should be well clear for TBs filming schedule
