Sorry but I’m not happy with this choice…AT ALL. Granted this is a tv show….but what part of Chris Elliot being Lily’s dad is even slightly believable???? HIMYM could have done soooo much better!
If the producers were looking for the most unappealing and annoying actor they could get to play Lily’s dad, then I guess they have done their job. This is going to be painful!
Can’t believe all the hate here for Chris Elliott – he is the quirky bright spot in most every show he’s in. He was great on Raymond as the nerdy brother, and in guest spots on tons of other shows he could always make me smile.
Lily is weird, and this is perfect casting IMO.
