Exclusive: Jorja Fox makes her 'CSI' return (more) permanent!

I realise this is a fairly old thread but wanted to have my say. I appreciate that everybody has different opinions about the characters and actors of csi. However im appalled by the referals to sara sidle as a crybaby and critism of her emotional problems. Firstly she is supposed to be the victim of domestic violence and traumatised by these childhood expereinces. I feel that the character of sara sidle is well rounded and shows the human side of csis. The fact that they are real peopl who are affected by what they do. Moreover she is by no means the only character that is affected by cases as they are plenty of epsiodes where other characters such as Nick and Langston are affected by cases. I personally beleive that jorja fox is a great actress and her passion for animals and the environment is inspiring. She is a much better role model than many actresses on tv. I am happy that she has returned to the show. As for the relationship between grissom and sara – sara has always been considered by the writers as a potential love interest for grissom from the shows inception. THere have been plenty of hints in the earlier seasons that they might have feelings for each other and might end up in a relationship. So i dont have a problem with teh relationship of beleive it was ill suited. I think that the departure of fox and petersen and return of fox has complicated matters and perhaps made the storyline concerning grissom and saras relationship more complex than necessary. However as viewers we should respect that fact the actors chose to leave/return for whatever reasons. CSI is entertainment for us but its a job and a big part of the lives of the actors. From articles iv read it seems that both actors wanted to focus on other things ie producing, acting in other/on stage etc. I think that we should respect that. The show has definitely changed since grissom left and i agree it isnt the same. But we should embrace the changes and evolution of csi. For the grissom fans out there – do you think grissom would have wanted to the csi department to be forgotten or ignored because he wasnt a part of it anymore? of course not.
As for bringing warwick back i dont think it would be possible without it being lame and/or far fetched.

In conclusion i love csi and admire the actors and all those involved in its making for creating such a great show. Im happy that jorja fox has returned, wish her the best of luck and hope that csi fans get to enjoy csi for many years to come.
