NBC has ordered full seasons of rookie series Community (cool!) and Mercy (meh), as well as second-year comedy Parks and Recreation (woo-hoo!).
The back-nine pickups come despite middling ratings for all three show, although Mercy has perked up somewhat in recent weeks. As Peacock president Angela Bromstad points out, “[Mercy] has found a dedicated audience and continues to build in the ratings. We’ve seen future episodes and we’re confident Mercy can be a strong player for us.”

I might have to give Mercy another shot – I’m all for the renewals of Community and Parks (the latter has really given its funny this season)

NBC Bring back Chuck. it got more ratings then all the ones you gave full seasons of. Who makes the decisions? You want quality shows bring back chuck
ALL of NBC’s shows are down this year, so Chuck, if on air now, would get equally bad (or worse) ratings than these three shows.
i agree 100%! NBC bring back Chuck. We Chuck fans have been waiting to see season 3 and i know for a fact that ratings will be higher than any of these shows!!

Hooray for Parks and Rec! Amy Poehler and Aziz Ansari are so funny on that show! I like the rest of the cast too, especially Andy. He is such an idiot!
WOOO Mercy SUCKED at first, but has evolved and i have grown to love it. Community and Parks & Rec also ROCK!

So happy to hear about Community! I really hope NBC gives this one a change to grow like they did with Office and 30 Rock. It’s got just as much potential to be a classic, I think.
