This just in: NBC picks up 'Community,' 'Parks and Recreation,' and 'Mercy' for full seasons

NBC has ordered full seasons of rookie series Community (cool!) and Mercy (meh), as well as second-year comedy Parks and Recreation (woo-hoo!). Read the full post.

    I am a big Amy Poehler fan and want to love Parks and Rec but it
    really is not doing it for me.

    I am glad to read about “Community.” I was starting to worry about it getting axed. While I am not in love with “Parks & Recreation” it is improving.

    Really, what else could NBC do? More editions of DATELINE? More tweaks on BIGGEST LOSER? They have to make what they have work.

    How about “Medium”,which was canceled by NBC at the end of last season and picked up by CBS,any chance will renew the show for the new season?

    I think Mercy is a cheap show. I have watched every episode, there are NO special effects. Then, last week a baby is delivered at 31 weeks, and they CARRY it to the NICU??? Then the dad is holding this 8 weeks premature child? Lung development doesn’t happen that fast and it just jumped the shark for the sake of a sweet moment!! No way that baby would be out of an incubator and that was when I lost my interest in this show. To assume the audience isn’t savy enough to see this is wrong!

    I like Mercy and I am glad that this show has gotten a full season. Not many may like it but this is the first show that features the Nurses side of the story. Way to go Mercy!
