“the Middle” looks promising.
I don’t find Modern Family all that great. If they let the show run without all the “directly to the camera” moments, you might have something. As it stands right now, the show is disjointed and the humour falls flat because it is constantly interrupted.
I saw Modern Family and cannot understand how anyone can thing the show is funny! I didn’t laugh once. The Big Bang Theory is better.
Modern Family my butt, seeing two gay guys raise a child isn’t something modern that I accept. God doesn’t either and because it’s my right I can turn the channel which I do!
Well, you have the right to your opinion. But gay men also the right to raise a child and to provide a loving and supportive home. I wish you could meet my gay friends who are raising children together. They’re doing an amazing job. And it’s great, in my opinion, that sitcoms like Modern Family are now able to reflect, and find humor in, the more tolerant times most of us are now living in.
Is it just me or is the new Patricia Heaton show I think it’s called The middle not just a remake of Malcom in the middle with a different cast and a little The new Adventures of old Christine thrown in for good measure?
Modern Family – #1 Great Show – Witty – Relateable – Refreshing – Hilarious!!
Flash Forward – #2 Surprising captivating.
Trauma – Disappointing – Aimless
Glee – Sadly, not as fun as it should be. Without music it would die.
1. Best new comedies: Modern Family, Cougar Town, Bored to Death
2. Worst New Comedy: Accidentally on Purpose (no one talks like that)
3. New show that we are not sure about: Glee (hate the story line with the fake pregnancy, the Jane Lynch character is so mean it’s not funny). But we love the singing even if it is over produced.
New Shows I don’t miss: Glee, Cougartown, Mercy (I’m a James Tupper fan, i love it so what!!)
New Shows I Tivo’d, watched and deleted: the forgotten, flashfoward, ncis:la, eastwick
Shows I would watch if i had enough time/tivo room: The office, modern family, castle, 2 and a half men
Shows I tivo (and love): Fringe, Grey’s, how i met your mother
Shows i tivo (but could live without): desperate housewives, brothers & sisters, heroes, ncis, private practice
90210 I BRILLIANT i love it its the best show on t.v at the min and i like the new melros place
modern family is the worse show on television it is not at all funny!!!!
