Why are people asking if they are going to be able to watch it online somewhere?! Why would they show it online before it is shown on NBC – jeeze, I wonder about people sometimes.

    • Jen

They always upload it on ninjavideo the next day. Dun!

  • Tim

unfortunately, it’s not going to be available online until it airs on NBC. Waiting til Summer 2010 sucks, just another blunder by NBC.

    Can NOT wait for FNL!!
I am shock at how many people don’t have Directv … can’t you get just the basic package???

    • Clear Eyes, Full Hearts

My house has a bunch of trees all around, so I can’t get a clear singal…I had the DirecTV tech come and see. “Settled” for U-Verse, which is amazing! (Minus the FNL…)

  • Lindz

That was awesome, Ausiello… you’re officially at the top of my awesome list today. The only thing that would have made it better was if Connie Britton had popped in… she and Kyle Chandler need an award… HEAR THAT EMMY PEOPL!

How about giving Jay Friday night off and putting this on at 10 come January?

  • fnlfan

I’m so grateful NBC got a deal to give FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS two more seasons, but I wish it’d been with a cable outlet I could get just for that purpose (if not with USA, like “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”). I’m glad the show is getting it’s deserved great press, but it’s partly wasted when DirectTV has such a small audience … and that press power is gone by the time the show finally arrives on NBC. At any rate, sounds as if this season is heading in a good direction, genuinely moving forward, and I can’t wait to see it. I’d gladly pay if there were a way to see it sooner.

And yes, the show is second only to “Mad Men” among TV dramas. Some of the best acting, and the best sense of place, on television.

  • Jess

Do you think that they had to give Kyle and Connie extra pay in return for putting up with that prancing queen on set? Boy, is that thing annoying.

  • KatyMay

I love this show and everyone in this show-from the freshman “prodigy” to Tyra (will miss her).

  • Jennifer

I am SOOOOO glad I got DirectTV!!! I’m watching FNL right now and what I’ve seen I LOVE! Kyle Chandler is bar none the best actor on TV! As others have said how this show hasn’t won Emmy’s is beyond me! Looking forward to a great season

  • Rebecca
