Armchair Casting Director: 'Lost'

Team Darlton is on the prowl for a female actress in her mid-30s to play…

Kendall: Described as an “intellectual beauty with a sharp edge to her wit,” she is caught committing corporate espionage and has to lie her way out. Recurring potential.

Got casting suggestions? Thoughts on who Kendall really is? Head to the comments!

hmmmm? Could she be part of Widmore’s company?

  • CH

She’s either in Widmore’s company or they’re ending LOST by bringing back Sydney Bristow…

    • lisa in va

      We could only hope!

  • Dave

    Kristen Bell.

    End of story.

    • BW

Mid -30s, not mid-20s. Kirsten Bell is great, but way too young. Same with Alicia Witt.

      • Laura

Alicia Witt is about 33-34. That would be the right age. And I agree that while Kristen Bell does rule all things, she’s too young if they want to stick with mid-30s.

      • Heidi

Alicia is close to my age if I remember correctly. She’s mid thirties and doesn’t look too young…Kristen Bell does look like a student.

For those who don’t remember Alicia she is pale with long red hair(natural), she’s a mensa member who’s kind of a serious person, and then she’s always presented as mature… Could Kendall be the one in charge of the children?

kristen bell was originally offered the role of charlotte, before she signed on to ‘heroes.’ alicia witt is the little kid narrator from ‘dune’ (she’s been consistantly miscast since then) and definitely fits ‘lost’ more then bell.

Alicia also recently played a very convincing blind woman in The Mentalist – I think it was a two part special and she was really good.

LOVE Kristen Bell! She might be a bit too young, though. She’s not even 30 yet.

  • Amanda

    How about Nora Zehetner?

  • Andrea

    how about RenĂ©e O’Connor?

    • stb

      this

  • Heidi

    Alicia Witt?

  • Willo

    Laura Harris?
    Janel Moloney?

    • joe

ohhh… i like Janel Moloney!!! good suggestion!

    • hoganbcmj

Jenna Maroney!? She could sing Muffin Top on Lost.

  • becky

    Vanessa Marcil

    • Lucy

      no offense, but yuck!

    • Jess

      that could work.

      • Heidi

She’s gorgeous but doesn’t play subtle or sneaky or unassuming very well. It would’nt be the right part for her. Someone more nuanced is likely going to be more effective in the role.

  • Joanna

Jamie Ray Newman….. because we all know Eastwick is gonna get the can!

  • Laura

Amy Acker? Caroline Dhavernas (aka Jaye from Wonderfalls)?

    • Grace

      second amy acker.

      • pop

ugh am i the only one who cannot stand her?

    • Jessica

Amy Acker would be great, but I think Caroline is too young, not quite mid thirties.

  • BlatantURLPimpingMustDie

    Jason Dohring (first!)

  • Pete

Christina Hendricks if she is available.

    • Nick

      She would be perfect.

  • K

    Charisma Carpenter

    • bek

Haha you beat me to it, I was gonna say Charisma Carpenter. She played Kendall on Veronica Mars, she can totally work the name. ;)

      • Jayme

Totally where my mind went as well.

  • kristina

me in ten years? perfect casting choice.

  • Alex

Kristen Bell! She messed up by choosing Heroes over Lost, so redemption is in order here.
