Casting a former supermodel for a daytime soap appearance doesn’t exactly pack the same punch as James Franco doing General Hospital, but hey, CBS could do a heckuva lot worse than a Czech beauty: EW.com has learned exclusively that Paulina Porizkova will do a multi-episode arc on As the World Turns beginning Jan. 5. She will play a character named Clarissa who has a history with Simon Frasier (Paul Leyden). ATWT averages 2.52 million viewers.

I’m just glad Simon is coming back at all… and at least he’ll be aorund for a couple of months, since she’s not starting until January!
Its about time we get a daily dose of news about soaps on the site because they are Entertainment so I would love to see this sort of thing be kept alive, EW. I am a subscriber and I would be even more inclined to stick with you if you had news about the daytime world every day, keep it up!!! Loving it!!!!!!!
P.S. We all know Simon hooked up with Vienna and now this girl seems to be like her so I guess Simon has a type. I would take Katie and Henry again before a pairing of Katie and Simon, that ship has sailed but since Henry was the cause of what happened, that relationship will never be the same.

i havent watched ATWT in awhile.I am glad that simon is back.I didnt think he would be back.Ihope something does happen between him and katie.even though he lied.but iam hiping Ican keep watching it so i can keep up with everthing.I thing Iam tired of is carly and jack.its like they want it to work but it doesnot happen.Idont like Meg and Paul.Ican care less about them on the show.thats it for now.
