Exclusive: Addison and Mark reunited in 'Grey's,' 'Private' crossover event

In what has become something of an annual tradition, Private Practice‘s Kate Walsh is heading back to Grey’s Anatomy in early January to play a Read the full post.

I HATE addison. What is she doing here in Seattle. She has her own show. She should stick with it. HOW MANY times is she going to come back to Grey’s

YAY Mark is off to California for no good reason so he can stand back as Addison tells us for the umpteenth time how great she is as a doctor then stand in awe while she pulls even more silly faces. Perhaps she will sleep with Mark even though she full well knows he’s involved with someone else. Where have I seen that plotline before? Oh yeah, it’s called GA where Addie did it there. Plotline revisited. Plotlines repeated. MOVE ON. Hate these crossovers with zero new ideas to have one in the first place. GAG!

LOL. Can you not read? There is a point. This pregnant girl is rumored to be Mark’s child.

YES Addison and Mark were the BESTTT!!!

  • Maddison

Yay, Addison and Mark! Addison makes it interesting; she’s funny and kickass, and wipes the floor with Lexie Grey, who looks like a five year old with Mark. Kick her ass and take Mark back, Addison! ;)

Addison and Mark were great together. I miss them. Can’t wait for this!

Addison and Mark were the only Greys couple to banter well and were kickass together.

    “Want my pickle ?”

    Lexie is a pre-schooler.

I personally love Mark and Lexie together, they are the reason I started watching Grey’s again. I am glad that the two finally get a real story and some depth because I think part of being good strong couple is the ability to overcome rough times together. I do hope however, that even with this possibly pregnant love child and Addison coming into the picture, the two of them stay together and work through this. I sort of liked Mark with Addison in the beginning, but I feel he’s changed after meeting Lexie and is a different Mark now; one that is committed to one woman, Lexie.

Praise to Shonda if she gets Mark/Addie back together. I love this couple so much.

At age 53 I’ve managed to acquire a wee bit of maturity. I also have the unique positon of having been a “Lexie” in the past. When I was 18 I dated a man who was 37. We got engaged when I was 19 and he was 38 and my family loved him – especially my Dad. The only thinig that stopped us tying the knot was the night he proposed he was leaving my house and, less than 1 mile away, a drunk driver hit him. He was dead at the scene.

Mark is supposed to be pushing 40. “Pushing” means he’s about 2 years off which makes him 38. With lexie turning 25 it’s only 13 years between them – big deal.
It really makes me sick to see the disparaging treatment that shows give to May/December couples. NBC and Days of Our Lives did it to Daniel and Chelsea and now Grey’s may do it to Mark and Lexie and over what. There was no uproar when grey’s paired a black man (Burke) with an Asian woman (Cristina), a white man (Owen) with an Asian woman (Cristina), a Hispanic woman (Callie) coming out as a lesbian (Erica/Arizona) but people want to do this to Mark and Lexie over something as silly as age and only 13-14 years at that? Everyone isn’t going to like the same characters in every show but there should be something for everyone. We can all cheer for the couples we like and ignore the ones we don’t.

    • LittleMo

Just a part 2 here. The couples mentioned in my previous post, i.e., Burke/Cristina, Owen/Cristina, Callie-Erica/Arizona, etc. I actually liked. I only mentioned them as examples of other couples who were “different” in ways other than age but still different.

i love the cross-over bringing the two shows together, but please don’t take private pratice off i love this show…..

  • Kristin

I think you are all looking too much into this cross-over event. Just sit back, relax and watch the doctors work their magic! It’s a little bit of time out from the real world.
