Virtually everything to come out of Smallville Season 9 has been brilliant thus far so I expect nothing less at this point. Can’t wait for the movie

    • Stenochick

ITA! Season 9 is the payoff for the fans’ loyalty through seasons 4-8 (especially season 7)! I love the idea of a movie and I love that the CW is actually acknowledging Smallville, a show that is number one in the male demo, not the female demo.

  • Dan

    AWESOMENESS!

  • Leila

So excited! It’s about time the CW recognized what a great show Smallville is!

  • Emme

I hope the treat later on today is the Pandora trailer!!!??? Pretty please!!! End of the world! Zod raising an army of Kryptonians? Chloe in peril? Clark and Lois reuniting in the future and having sex all over the place? Pretty please for the trailer???

  • Debbi

    Awesome source. I can’t wait :D

  • Kim

This show is not even a guilty pleasure anymore for me. It’s an out right obsession. For years, I’ve tried to say it was a guilty pleasure but you know what? It’s too damn good now for guilty pleasure status. It’s must see Tv. This is going to be awesome! (Now let’s see if the CW promotes it.)

    • paige

I couldn’t have said it better myself!!!

      • mgb

You’re right. I don’t go anywhere on Friday nights, even with two DVR’s in the house. I just will not miss “my” Smallville.

  • LB

These two episodes being so special and all – couldn’t they have moved them into Smallville’s old timeslot on Thursday at 8 (January 28th)? Oh, I forgot. That would bruised Dawn’s ego if the show got gigantic ratings on its old night and proved what a dumb decision it had been to move it in the first place.

  • cara410

    OMG! Woot! That’s awesome!

  • paige

This has made my day! I am so excited! GO SMALLVILLE!!!

  • hype

Yeah, also, here is another treat for all Smallville FANS to look for on Season-9. Clark will be dropping his NEO Matrix look costume. They’re giving him a red and blue leather one suit costume, staying away from the funny spandex that Tom hates. According to source, it appears to be a leather jumpsuit much like a biker’s suit. The front and back is said to be blue, having the right/left side and arm in red. And the RED Super shied popping out on the chest and having no cape and no funny red external underwear. According to source, they said it looks awesomely cool!

    • linly44

Which source, sounds like it’s suspect until one knows who it’s from.

  • Mactega

I was always hoping they would have an episode where young Clark Kent would meet a young Bruce Wayne while he travels the world training to be Batman.

  • smryan23

Nothing special- they did this for the season 4 final eppie (two episodes, I mean).

    • Curtis

      Um no they didn’t.

  • Lori

Bigger news – S10 greenlit, Lex coming back or Clark flying?

    • mgb

Let’s have all three and really blow it out of the water!

  • Brenda

Thank you so much for the scoop. I really enjoy this show. I try to just ignore the haters because frankly, who cares what they think? They don’t affect my enjoyment of the show in the slightest. I think Season 9 has been amazing. I have been so impressed on so many levels. I’m really looking forward to the movie.

  • Sylvia

Wow, this season keeps getting better and better :)
