aven’t seen NCIS LA yet. I did see a couple of the original NCIS. What’s rally good about it is that they have someone for every age group and demographic, so it appeals to a wide range of viewers. I didn’t like it as much as Criminal Mind, but I do think it’s a very good show.
i dont watch NCIS, LA, Castle, CSI etc for the murder of the week, i watch for the characters…i figure most of them out anyway, which i also like.
Love how folk right off NCIS’ ratings to just a bunch of old people watching. I’ve got a bunch of 20- and 30-something friends who watch, along with myself (30-something). Loved Tony’s reference last week, saying he was a “white male between the ages of 18 and 49. I am the American dream.” NCIS writers and producers are well aware of the hits they take, despite ratings.
loved that too…the very audience that they have tons of viewers in – including me at 30
Lol, so not surprised about V’s drop. It turns out the network was actually RIGHT to shut down the show and rework the scripts (too bad they too so long to realize how awful and hacky they were). Unfortunately no matter what they do now, the damage has already been done.
I’m just going to say that Fox pundits throwing their support behind V because they think it’s anti-Obama might have helped lower the ratings.
As for NCIS, if watching a show because I like it for its characters and humor instead of because it’s the newest fad among reviewers makes me stupid, then I’m a complete idiot who got into college off of my good looks. I guess I’m just not smart enough to troll around dismissing and insulting other people and their preferences because I suffer ratings envy.
I agree with some of the fan’s about all the NCIS & CSI & all the Law & Orders enough all ready. I seen all of them & there all about the same in solving the crime & getting there man or women in each case. So I stop watching them. Tv thru the week is very boring I channel surf allot. Don’t get me wrong the actor are good in there series but CBS need too fine something new.Now they want too spin off on Criminal Minds we really don’t need another copy of criminal minds do you think .
NCIS: Los angeles just keeps getting better and finding it own groove…..excellento!!!
I saw the first episode. V just sucks…no one is impressed. I hope it gets canceled.
V is a tremendous example of the importance of good television writers. This show has a great premise, a few cool cult actors, decent effects, network support, and crizzappy dialog. Pacino and Spacey couldn’t save themselves from the bullet lead in these terrible scripts. The principle character’s son though… he is just an awful actor and a frakkingly annoying character.
