NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I hate Fox and the morbidly stupid TV watching audience who can’t appreciate a real program. ARGH!

  • Lori

This season really had great potential. I was loving the story lines and have been missing it the past couple of weeks. Boo on Fox.

    • LoveTV

Can’t miss it. It affects the ratings!!

  • alisa

Bastards. Way to cancel it two weeks into its four week hiatus. I’m just glad we at least get the remaining episodes.

  • ck

Can’t really blame Fox for this one. I love Joss, Eliza, etc…but had to struggle to try to watch this show. The “normal” viewer gave up last season.

    • Sam

      Boo on you!

  • Michael

Aw…i’ll miss my little Mutant friends at the end of the credits….Grrr….Argh! LOL Get’s me every time!

  • Merry

I think Fox should really start remembering to give Joss Whedon shows a chance – as in DON’T PUT THEM IN DEATH-SLOT FRIDAY.

    • Alex

It’s not the slot, because Smallville is in the same slot and doing relatively well and beating pretty much everything else on the CW.

      • Jackie

Yes but the problem is a lot of shows have been dumped on Friday and most of them are losing viewers.

  • faye carr – wilson

Ahhhhh i feel like crying this is my fav show ever. what are they thinking !!!! :<:<

  • David Webb

    NOOO!!! YOU SOBs!!!

What the hell is the matter with you, Fox? Cancelling Firefly, and now Dollhouse? What do you have against Joss Whedon?

Joss :: Please, take it to another network. Dr. Horrible, which was made independently, has a better future than Firefly did. If you did that WITHOUT a network, that proves that Fox is a worse network than no network at all! Do us and yourself a favor and give Fox the finger and get the hell out of there.

  • Gary Knight

Any show that takes a bit of thought gets axed and they churn out fluff; thank goodness for DVD and HBO hang your head Fox shame on you the UK thinks you suck

  • Jake

This does indeed sadden me, but the ratings left them no other choice. I am shocked that it got this far on Fox to be honest. The last episode featuring Sierra’s storyline was the best episode yet too…here’s hoping we get some good closure atleast.

  • EveatEden

I really do wish SyFy would pick it up. I would be a better fit there. So sad :( . Fox screws Joss and Eliza AGAIN. They’ve screwed em both before (Firefly and Tru Calling).

    • killyouwithmybrain

Don’t send it to SyFy they’re great at killing shows by putting a full year between airing seasons (Farscape)…and stretching out four seasons to five by calling it 4.5 (BSG) All the networks suck…they need to rethink their business model paradigm. (Sponsor-TV isn’t working anymore)

  • Alex

Who wants to take bets that Heroes will be the next to be canceled?
NBC is the only remaining network that hasn’t axed something yet this season, right?

    • Bren

NBC killed Southland a few weeks ago.

      • Alex

Oh that’s right, I’d forgotten about that one…
I still think Heroes is next though.

    • ernie

Heroes should’ve been canceled waaaay before Dollhouse.

      • Dani

Agreed. S1 of Heroes was sooo god and everything afterward was a steaming pile, but I kept watching in the faint hope that it would change, but finally wrote it off after midway last season. Heroes should’ve got the short order and Chuck should’ve been given the full season, imo.

  • mel

Sad but unlike Firefly Fox gave Dollhouse a fair chance. It just took to long to be good, their ratings were even worse this year and last year it got renewed over the superior Sarah Connor.

    • Dug

(tear).. TSCC, what a great show!

  • Marie

Not surprised — the sexual exploitation angle made it hard to get involved in the story. Especially as a woman — the myth of the “happy hooker” on steroids was a bit much to handle every week. Hopefully Mr. Penikott will land someplace sunnier, he was looking pretty milky last epi!

    • J

Do you even watch this show? “Happy hooker” on steroids did not happen every episode, and Tahmoh Penikett wasn’t even in the last episode.

  • Michael

Am I the only one who didn’t like this show? I gave it a try but just never got into it. I don’t think it came close to his other shows. I’m not sorry to see it go.

    • fred

agree with marie, i watched it a few times and couldn’t get the phrase “soft porn” out of my head.

    • kathy C

I tried – I watched 3 or 4 episodes last year.. the concept that it was prostitution with people who’s memories were controlled I found too disturbing to get behind.
