I agree with everyone who said that Vampire Diaries lost viewer’s because of New Moon. It’ll make a comeback next week.
If they decide to give up on Lie to Me at mid-season, Monday night after House is the obvious place for Fringe. It can’t run after American Idol forever. But they should only move it once, they clearly damaged it by moving it so early in its life. Would anybody care if they axed Lie to Me and gave the spot to Fringe? Not me.

We who love Supernatural have been saying that if we had a better day and time slot- Supernatural would of done so much better with ratings. Now I see so many people doing the same with Fringe. I guess it is true then. We will never know how great Supernatural could have been if more people knew about it sooner.
Fringe is fine. Everyone worries about the US ratings being low, but it is getting huge ratings around the world… like CSI:Miami worldwide ratings (gigantic)… plus with DVR+7 doing well and record DVD Season 1 sales (again worldwide) FRINGE is a big money maker for Bad Robot, FOX and global distro partners. They can afford to put it in a tough time slot… it is destined to survive to 100+ eps over 5 seasons. It won’t even have many reruns during holiday/summer hiatus… they want to create a hunger for the DVD set. There is your money. A half million DVD sales brings $25Mil to the annual purse… that makes 4th in the timeslot ratings extremely tolerable.
Thursday is the most competitive night on TV. I don’t understand why Fox stacked Fringe into an already crowded schedule with entrenched loyalties. I’m just glad I can Tivo Fringe while I watch The Office/30 Rock.
I wish they would move it back to Tuesdays. Gees, upwards of 10+ million viewers and they go and move it to Thursdays???
