It took ‘em long enough, but I suspect it’s gonna prove worth the wait: House‘s keepers are giving Lisa Edelstein’s Cuddy her own Very Special Read the full post.

I LOVE YOU LISA!!! xD
Ok, first of all, Lisa is amazing!
And apart from that, she’s funny and smart as well.
Just like Cuddy,
and bashing her and her character is really immature of whoever is doing it.
So proud of those who are showing their support!
OMG Lisa Edelstein is AMAZING no matter what!!! and those of you who cant see that are eeww!!!
I could not finish reading the news with disappointment to find one as impartial journalism.
The producers of House are ugly and missing yesterday’s hearing shows that, you are complaining to the imminent end of the series.
Ridiculously and for a reason not explained the producers are acting in desperation to make it work Huddy, for that Jen Morrison had to depart and still make the following Cuddy, her character has no foundation to establish itself alone?
My only regret.
Aww the Cameron widowers are bitter. How sad.
LOL, I guess it’s bad now to dislike how showrunners are treating one of their actors…??
You can dislike how the are treating JMo but some people here (and I don´t mean you) are insulting Lisa Edelstein.
What´s the problem? Jen´s been fired and Lisa is having a ep. for her as RSL? Good for them. It´s not their fault if the other actress isn´t on the show anymore. They deserve these episodes.
This interview it´s about Cuddy and this episode around her, not about JMo. There are post about her where her fans can go and speak their mind. Doin´t it here doesn´t make sense.
Interview her every single day Mike. (we’re on a first name basis now.)
So glad to know she’s still a Huddy at heart
and that she’s not a fan of the Luddy arc either
and Hugh leaving her a flowers with a congrats note? How sweet is that?? This woman is so effing hilarious, gotta love her!!
Go get a life and leave her alone!!
Is this directed at Ausiello?
I’m glad Lisa is still a Huddy at heart
and that she doesn’t seem to be a fan of the Luddy arc either
good deal!
And then Hugh leaving her flowers with a congrats note? How sweet is that!! She’s always so effing hilarious, gotta love this woman!!
Hugh is so sweet. He likes her so much. I´m sure everybody likes her in the set because she is amazing.
I´m so happy for Lisa and for Robert Sean Leonard. Both of them are having a special episode this season and it´s wonderful.
Next week is Wilson´s episode and I´m already loving it. I don´t know what will I do with the Cuddy ep. THANK YOU TPTB!
How many times are you going to post this under different names?
Who the hell are you to tell me that I´m posting under different names?? This is my name in Fanpop, LJ and all the House forums I post. You can check it. This is the name I always use.
Get a life losers!
I like both House and Cuddy, but since he makes women miserable, why would anyone wish him on her?? I’m getting bored with his sulky pining over her; wish they would bring Sela Ward back and perhaps give him a shot at something that might work.
As a Huddy Fan, I have stopped
watching House MD because of that
unbearable Luddy Arc ! They have
killed the Huddy chemistry !
Huddy is dying and the House MD
show is dying ! Good job and
congratulations David Shore , you
have killed the House MD show !
I ‘m sorry for all these great
actors who work in that show !
Oh. My. God.
Get a life. Like, seriously, you moronic Huddy fangirl. This show used to be more than some poorly written middle-schooler relationship. Go watch seasons 1-3. And do it now.
Sing it, sista!
Awesome interview! And great for Cuddy, I say. Wouldn’t you know “Let’s Get It On” came up in my iPod playlist as I read this piece.
Some of the prudes expressing their disgust in the comments make me LOL. Seriously, so many actors these days are over the top politically correct because they’re afraid of shocking people and talk like they have a pole rammed up their ass, it’s boring. I love Lisa because you know her answers are real and not just what she’s “expected” to say, she’s not afraid to shock and is totally herself, and she knows that not everyone will agree with her views but doesn’t care. She’s true to herself and she’s real, give me someone like that over many of the current Hollywood bores any day.
Love you Lisa, you rock. <3
Anna Paquin
Great comments Catrina! Totally agree with everything you said! Some people just don’t get it.
well said, well said !! I concur
One thing is be politically incorrect and talk freely about everything and express yourself and another one is being a totally sex obsessed person.
She has been talking about sex, huddy sex, sexy Hugh and blablabla bla for more than 5 years.
Sex is part of life I konw.
But it looks like is her only talking theme for god’s sake.
She is not a sex obsessed person, it’s just that unlike most people she doesn’t consider sex as a subject people should feel ashamed or embarrassed about discussing, there’s a big difference. Far too many people have the attitude that talking openly about sex makes you a whore, which couldn’t be more wrong.
Catrina, sweetie, I am certainly NOT a person that is ashamed or embarrassed about sex or discussing it or even doing it. Don’t make that judgement about me because you don’t know.
What people are sick and tired of is the fact that that is ALL Lisa ever talks about. She is a one-note wonder, that’s all. Huddy sex. Sex with Hugh (WRONG!!!) Sex with Lucas. Sex, sex, and more sex.
She’s even starting to get a little ridiculous as far as her admirers are concerned. Making sexual comments once in a while is edgy and freethinking, but when it is done at every opportunity it becomes not only boring, but it gives people an entirely different opinion of her, and not a good one.
I GUARANTEE that if any ONE of you Lisa lovers worked with a person that never said anything unless it was overtly sexual, that you’d hate that person and you’d probably take it up with your supervisor or human resources department.
One does not have to be puritanical to dislike LE and everything she says.
1 – If you’d re-read what I said, I am not making any judgments of you personally, I am just stating my opinion in general.
2 – Talking about making judgments, you saying that she’s only unprofessional and only ever talks about sex is a judgment. You seem to be coming to this conclusion based on her Ausiello interviews, if I were you I’d really read a broader range of her interviews in general before making such a statement. If you did that you’d see that she talks about so much more than sex and is in fact a very classy and intelligent woman.
3 – If you “dislike LE and everything she says” why do you even bother reading and commenting to her interviews? I certainly wouldn’t do so with someone I didn’t like.
XYZ obviouslly you haven´t read a lot of her interviews. She is an incredible intelligent and deep woman. She enjoys talking about sex, it´s true. But she has talked about a lot of wonderful things that you have missed. Or maybe you are so biased that you only look for sexual stuff to bash her and don´t pay attention to the rest.
BTW this is an Ausiello interview. You can´t wait more from him. Give this woman a good question and you will get an amazing answer
Catrina and Coralina – I’m totally open-minded and would LOVE to see Lisa say something intelligent and not overtly sexual. Point me in the direction of some interviews and I’ll be happy to eat crow.
Do you want more links XYZ? Or with this one you have enought? What about some vids?
You are talking about a person you don´t know. I don´t know her either but at least I have spent some time looking for some stuff about her so I know her better.
She loves making sexual jokes. I don´t know in where you live. But in my country people like to make this king of jokes all the time and it doesn´t mean we can´t have and interesting talk.
You obviously dislike her so you are going to have a point to bash her every time she opens her mouth.
What reasons you have to dislike her so much. I don´t know. And really I don´t care.
BTW I don´t know if Ausiello will delete the link. If he does I will post it again
Great, he deleted my link. Ok, you just need to google “jewish woman lisa edelstein” and you will find a beautiful interview.
This. She is one of the few persons in that plastic Hollywood world that speak her mind.
So true just Love Lisa Edelstein she’s great amazing a who and what she does!!!
Actually I live my life because it is getting to the right person because she has no talent
One week’s data point does not make a trend, but if it did, FOX might conclude fans really want Cameron on the show. House dipped from last week’s 5.1 rating with adults 18-49 to a 4.5 rating last night, down about 12 percent week over week. FOX still won the night with adults 18-34.
FOX House 4.5/12 11.88
ABC Dancing With the Stars 3.8/10 19.77
CBS How I Met Your Mother 3.7/10 8.79
NBC Heroes 2.3/6 5.17
CW One Tree Hill (Repeat) 0.6/1 1.33
She was on the show in the weeks after the season premiere and House still lost viewers (total). Yes, she’s a factor in the sense of dissatisfaction that some have with House, but she’s not the be all and end all. She’s barely been on the show in two years.
Baseball playoffs and World Series in October, dear. Even Greg Yaitanes knows that was what made the ratings dip.
Last week, House’s ratings were almost 13 million and this week less than 12 million. There is no way to definitively say this was due to Cameron’s departure, but if the ratings continue to drop, the connection can and should be made.
XYZ, thanks. I’d forgotten about the Baseball. I’m not American so that didn’t occur to me.
Having said that, wasn’t this the Dancing With The Stars finale week too? What’s more, there is general dissatisfaction with some aspects of the show (Cameron’s screentime and exit included) but I don’t believe she’s the *sole* reason for any dips in the show from this point on. Even if Jennifer Morrison comes back permanently, unless other matters are addressed, it won’t be enough.
That’s what I’m trying to say. Hope that’s clearer.
Cameron gone can be a reason for some dropping but it´s not everything. A lot of huddy fans didn´t watch this episode because the knew the kind of lame writting they were getting. Other people are just tired of a formulatic show. Some just forgot watching, blah blah blah.
What do I mean? It´s not all about Cameron. Get over it guys.
I suspect that a major reason the ratings were down this week is because most of the episiodes this season have been inferior to previous seasons, and the prior week’s was probably the worst of the series. Not because Cameron left, but because the soap opera garbage is dominating the show and seems entirely forced, as had the dialogue. Were it not for my slavish devotion to Hugh Laurie, I wouldn’t have watched last night.
No, Lisa is not the sole reason for the ratings dip. The ratings reflect the insistence of the writers in moving the show in a certain direction when the majority of fans don’t want it cough*Huddy*cough.
House will not survive a foray into the soap-opera-like world it exists in right now.
