    Although Chloe is good, Richard Dean Anderson is the best actor on the show. I personally can’t stand Nikki and don’t like what’s happening to Bill. I have lots of empathy for Barb and don’t think she’s happy with her polygamy. Just heard that real LDS wear sacred underwear. Has that ever been on the show?

    Nicki is by far the most captivating and brilliant character on the show!! Chloe sevigny is absolutly BRILLIANT! Her lack of nomination for an emmy was a travesty on thier behalf, in my opinion there is no better actress on tv today! what a fantastic, exciting and equally suprising show Big Love is! looking forward to the new season!!

    Love the difference in dresses. (Figure skater ROFL! That was great!) Interesting storyline, and right in keeping with Bill’s overall dysfunction. (And everyone thinks Nicki’s the wicked one. She’s the only one trying to make sense – strange as it is – of the insanity.)

    I, too have been hooked since epsode 1. What a VERY interesting culture to explore! Tho’ not Mormon myself, I’ve had several mainstrem LDS friends and I have read extensively about the belief sysytem . Seems to me, they’ve really got the ideology pegged. So facinating, so well-written. Love ALL the characeters including Nicki. I think the acting is supberb w/ the exception of Bill Paxton. To me, he is not a good actor, & it’s ironic he is the LEAD is such an otherwise outstanding piece of work. Anyone else have an opinion on Bill?

    Linda, re: sacred underwear. They are called “garmemnts.” There have been several references to the “garments” thru’ ou the show. In the past few weeks, you would have seen Adeleen (sp?) sporting hers in the bedroom scene w/ J.J. You will notice, she wore hers (look like long-john underwear) UNDER her bra. That i true t tradition. The belief is that hte closer one wears them to the skin, the greater the protection one is afforded from them. Interesting, huh?
