Bravo confirms White House dinner crasher Michaele Salahi is 'under consideration' for 'The Real Housewives of DC'

Bravo has confirmed that Michaele Salahi, who infamously crashed the White House state dinner last week with her husband, Tareq, is currently being considered as a cast member for the upcoming DC version of their popular Real Housewives franchise. The network also reveals that cameras were with the couple that day but wouldn’t comment as to how long the Salahis have been filming. A Bravo spokesperson said in a statement to EW, “The cast of The Real Housewives of DC has not been finalized. Michaele Salahi is under consideration as a cast member, as such Half Yard Productions (the producers of the series for Bravo) were filming the Salahis on that day.”

Bravo is officially dead to me.
    Disgusting.

      Agreed

      • PHD

        Agreed!

    • Linda

      totally agree!

      • td

Agree! I hope Obama kicks Jeffrey Immelt, who is the CEO of GE, off of his economic advisory board.

What happened to Bravo? It’s turning into VH1.
Local news in Jacksonville,FL interviewed Salahi’s brother, who happens to be a physician in town. They have not been on speaking terms for five years. The whole family has pretty much stopped any contact with these two.

What a bunch of crap,to mess with national security for the sake of a STUPID(stress the word STUPID)TV show about a bunch of stuck-up,do nothing, waste of space women. The FCC should pull Bravo off the air for this stunt.

  • Snarf

And it will only encourage more bad behavior if she gets picked.

  • Big D

I blame the Secret Service a lot more for what happened than Salahi or Bravo.

    • Te D.

Here comes a convenient blaming game, ignorig the unethical group of producers and a STUPID loser child of rich parents and his oppotunist wife, who started all this.

  • Mary

Oh, Bravo. First Project Runway, now this. Get your act together.

  • Emily

Sweet, let’s reward more vapid, entitled, useless, vain and idiotic women with TV shows! YAY Bravo!

  • Celia

And now, thanks to Bravo, terrorists can take notes from these two on how to breach security.

    • Ambient Lite

Apparently, you just walk right in.

  • Nate

What did you expect from a network that is owned by Nothing But Crap? Quality? Yeah, OK! Reason enough a) not to watch this network anymore and b) to disqualify this woman from contention on this show. A hack who has no talent that has to crash a party to garner attention. What a loser!

  • Linda

There is nothing on this network that I watch anymore, unless they are showing L&I reruns, and I used to watch several shows. But as soon as they started the trashy “Real Wives” franchise, I stopped watching. That they are even considering rewarding this wannabe’s behavior in disrespecting our president by giving her a place on their trashy show is the final straw. Good riddance.

  • Kylie

I guess I will not see the end of Top Chef …the fact that they are currently under consideration–is sickening.

  • Roland

Gee, what a surprise, Shortly after the incident, they started shopping around their “story” hoping for some major coin. These two losers don’t need their own show – they need to have their cans tossed in jail.

  • Me

How about they follow them around and tape them when they (HOPEFULLY) go to court and are charged with trespassing. With any luck they can document their lives in the slammer. I know I know, wishful thinking…..
Do these people learn nothing?!?!?! First the kid in the balloon incident a month ago and now this. I give it only another 3-4 weeks before someone else comes up with something “BRILLIANT” just to get attention.

  • Jazz

Why isn’t this couple in jail? Instead they’re being rewarded?!! If they had jumped a fence to enter the WH grounds, they would be in jail. I don’t understand

    • Ambient Lite

While they are certainly garbage, they didn’t actually break any laws.

  • SoyBombGuy

If you want to let Bravo know that you will boycott them and/or their advertisers if this Salahi idiot is put on their show, email them at: —- http://www.bravotv.com/contact

  • GGG

Lost all respect for Bravo. Used to be an innotive network, and now is incredibly trashy. On par with UPN…
