If you (like me) have been thirsting for a stronger dose of vampire Pam on True Blood, you are in luck: Kristin Bauer will appear as a full-fledged series regular in season 3, an HBO rep confirms.
Eric’s lesbian (or is it bisexual?) sidekick had previously been billed as a TB guest star. Last season, she appeared in 11 of 13 episodes, per The Hollywood Reporter, which first broke the story.
More Pam is definitely a good thing. Need convincing? Watch this.

Excellent news! I wish True Blood did those short online webisodes featuring minor characters like some other shows do… to keep us satiated until the new season.
YES! I can now cross off two things from my True Blood Season 3 wish list: More Pam and a Godric flashback! Now if only they stop trying to paint Eric and Bill as black and white roles, Season 3 might just be pretty near perfect!
Actually, I don’t believe that she appeared in 11 of 13 epsiodes (far fewer), but she’s *always* memorable. Thank goodness, because Kristen Bauer is a star, and Pam is one of my favorite characters in the whole TV series.
I thought 11 of 13 sounded wrong, too, so I checked IMBD and she has been in 11 total episodes– both seasons combined.
She’s my favorite. Pam only appeared in 11 episodes over the first two seasons COMBINED (not 11 out of last season), so definitely not enough. six more months to go…can’t wait!
