He’s smart regardless of how long he’s been on House, Jacobs is an idiot. And much as I love Hugh Laurie, I’m still not watching without Jennifer Morrison, and ESPECIALLY if there is Huddy. I hope for his sake he doesn’t have to direct that, since he’s certainly made it clear in the past that Huddy actually makes him uncomfortable.
If the lack of onscreen chemistry is any indicator, I’d say Huddy makes him uncomfortable.
He’s mentioned a few times (like in the Paley Center interview) that filming the sex scene in S5 was “odd.” Emphasis on ‘odd.’ Of course, he -is- married so I imagine it’d be kind of weird, kissing somebody’s who’s not your spouse. And then seeing a bunch of rabid, ship-crazy fans dissect it to pieces.
