Excellent choice with James Frain…nothing to take away from Eggs, but I bet money that fans of TB are going to fall in love with his acting and him playing Franklin Mott. Can’t wait.

well according to the books Franklin Mott had grey hair, a mustache and had an Italian accent. So maybe James Frain will have a rad Italian accent and NOT a overly done butchered southern accent. Let’s only hope. If you want eye candy watch WB.

The picture really doesn’t do him justice. Frank

The picture really doesn’t do him justice. Franklin Mott is hott, and totally dark.. Sure not literally dark, but i don’t think that’s necessarily what they mean in that expression. His characters are dark , and his eyes are piercing. I can’t wait.. To be honest, the tara/eggs thing was kinda boring, this character is way more dangerous, and that’s always sexy !!!!

I hated eggs for Tara. He had a great body but the brain of a tree stump. No charisma. I’m glad she gets a vampire and I hope he is protective and loving toward her. I hope Ball doesn’t cut Tara out off from getting what all the other females are getting, love. She needs a sexy strong man. So far James Frain is only in 2 episodes so he may just be using Tara and then dump her. I hope not.

Actually, he’s good looking with a sexy voice and accent. Go Tara, bang that fang!

I wonder if Mr. Mott is ill or has he lost weight for his ‘True Blood’ role. Do you know?

  • SeolMama

That picture is horrible of him but he’s still not that very attractive lol.

It’s going to be hard for me to get his Tudors role outta my head. But from the last episode he was on point. But I thought he looked so geeky lol. And that sex scene wasn’t really hot (in the previews) ah well. He is a good actor. I’m sure I’ll warm up to him.

    Im black and british.

And most definitely woudld LOVE to be in tha Tara place!

Plus you see him act and that charisma sexiness just oozes out…its ridiculous.
    You. Will. Be. Hooked.

    Americans……(!)
Always make it about blooming colour!

Why couldn’t someone handsome develope the hots for Tara like Eric. Instead they caste this skinny, old dude. Sookie get’s all the good one’s and she’s not even all that attractive. Tara and Lafayette are really cool characters, they know how to keep it real.

Having read the books, I could see James Frain as Franklin Mott – he has the dark, sleazy, up to no good look about him. And Frain is an absolutely incredible actor. Now having seen him on the show, I’m so happy they cast him! THIS is what evil looks like and we haven’t seen hardly any of him yet. The conversation with Jessica was perfect, when he glamored Tara, he may be becoming my favorite vamp this season.

I love this new character of Franklin….
and I think they cast him perfectly…. he plays CRAZY and obsessive so well….. and i think Frain is not half bad looking a the end of the day… of course i’m a bit partial.. my BF gets told he looks like him frequently… LOL

James Frain was EXCELLENT as Franklin Mott, though I wish the story line didn’t require him to be so psycho. And him and Rutina Wesley had amazing chemistry. I would have loved for this relationship to have gone in a more positive direction — it would have been the bomb. In any case, James Frain made his mark on True Blood & he created a character we will all remember!
