Way to go tagging this article “Castle” when there’s no actual Castle noms. Thanks a lot.

  • abie

Golden Globes TV noms get screwed because they throw supporting actors from TV series, movies and mini-sereies into a single category which is absurd. There’s no possible way to recognize actors fairly this way. Of course, that’s just one of the complaints people have about the Globes and their legitimacy.

  • Jon

Biggest Snub is 0 noms for Sons of Anarchy. Insane that Katey Sagal didn’t get a nod.

  • Vicky

I say kick out Entourage and put in How I Met Your Mother or Big Bang Theory!!!

  • melissa

I can not believe jim parsons did not get nominated, i am so disappointed. What a joke.

  • charles

I like to say that I was ecstatic for the 4 nominations for glee but there should of been 1 more where is the love for Chris Colfer and his portrayal of Kurt he deserved to be nominated even though I know he wouldnt have won over John Lithgow

  • Bismark

I’d easily replace Matthew Morrison with any of the male players of Modern Family. That kid who plays Manny has better comedic chops than bland Schuester.

But it’s not just a comedy award – it’s a comedy or musical award. Blame the fact that they lump the two together, but don’t knock somebody who is good at one part of the category but perhaps not as good in your mind at the other.

  • Bobby

    John Noble anyone?

    • Trish

Thanks Bobby for reminding us what a brilliant actor that man is. Fringe is an amazing show that should go back to Tuesday nights or at least Mondays.

  • joanne

CAN U BELIEVE!!! Ed O’Neil Didnt get a nom!!!! whatever!!!!! Modern Family RULES

  • Josh Emerson

Supporting Actor has to be one of the toughest categories to choose a winner in. John Lithgow was brilliant on Dexter, but NPH has always been awesome on HIMYM. And then there’s Michael Emerson for Lost…

  • dave

    Where’s In Treatment???
Why no Gabriel Bryne and Dianne Wiest???

    • Bags

Oh man, you are RIGHT. That show was mindblowing, largely based on stellar acting.

  • benaouioui

I totally agree with your WTF section! I mean SoA, Breaking Bad, FNL are the best shows on tv! The fact that they didn’t score a nomination is a shame! But not surprised! Those award shows always hav their favorites. I wonder if they even watch the shows…

  • CH

I was really happy to see Lea Michele and Jane Lynch get nods, and while Matt Morrison is more of a surprise than a shoo-in like the ladies, I’m glad he’s nominated if only to recognize his contributions to the show. I was so glad to see “Modern Family” up, too–I love “30 Rock,” but it’s time for a new show to take the crown and “Modern Family” is ready to do it.

  • SG

WTH – where is BREAKING BAD??? Some of the best acting on television.

    • petitbeux

I was thinking the same thing. Didn’t Bryan Cranston win every possible prize this year already? What is with him and the Globes?!

  • Sarah

Matthew Morrison hasn’t convinced you?? He has been PHENOMENAL. Phenomenal, for real. Did you not see the scene where he realized Terri wasn’t actually pregnant!? It was heartbreaking and real and he was fantastic. He 100% deserves this nomination.

    • llevinso

100% agree. I had CHILLS during that scene.
