The Big Bang Theory continues to build its audience! Very cool!

If I recall a year or two ago, there was a similar “choir” sing off on NBC hosted by Patti Labelle and Nick Lachey. Is this a ripoff and aren’t we getting tired of all the singing contest shows?

Actually, I was expecting that JenHud’s special would get less than 5.6Mil….I mean she’s well known, but she’s not a household name. I suspect that the networks expected about the same numbers. Let’s face it, “Xmas” specials don’t get big numbers anyway.

Actually-after the horrific crime that was committed against her family and her role in SATC a lot more people are interested in Jennifer Hudson.

Let’s be serious. The Sing-Off was absolutely abysmal. I chastised my wife the whole time she was watching it (and those women from Baltimore were not representative of my city). Who wants to watch Jennifer Hudson either? Stop giving her accolades!

Really? Your complaining about someone who is celebrating her first christmas without some murdered family members. Theres some christmas spirit for you!

I thought it was pretty crass of NBC to disinvite the cast of “Glee” from participating in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (which NBC aired), and then promote its new “The Sing-Off” series as being similar to “Glee.” I wouldn’t have watched this if NBC had PAID me. Jerks.

I like acapella. I had really looked forward to watching it. (i did, however, find it quite hypocritical that they compared it to Glee after banning them from the parade) Anyway, i thought the show was pretty boring and dont plan on watching anymore. ill be curious to see the ratings for the next episodes…

I could’ve definitely done without Nick Lachey reminding us that there were “no instruments, just voices” after EVERY commercial break.

I know the dude is just reading copy, but honestly, does NBC think that America can’t comprehend the concept of a capella? If you don’t care for your liver, take a shot every time he brings this up in tonight’s episode.

I watched the show because my girlfriend was in an a capella group for four years in college and I saw pretty much all their concerts, but NBC just sucks!

Poor J-Hud! I hope her carrer rebounds.

Dam I guess everyone watched CBS last night, go Big Bang Theory!!!

  • Big D

I’m glad this new singing show did not do well. Enough with these singing and dancing competions. I want more scripted TV.

the judges are fake and extreemly annoying…especially nicole…seriously…stop trying to get the audience to react…and start giving some real criticisim….as a JUDGE should!

if these judges stay…im not watching this show anymore!
