Ratings: CBS tops 'So You Think You Can Dance' finale

‘Tis the season for ABC to grab a decent number of viewers with a repeat airing of Disney Prep & Landing, the half-hour holiday special from Pixar, but CBS took every time slot Wednesday evening with original episodes. The New Adventures of Old Christine, Gary Unmarried and Criminal Minds topped the two-hour season finale of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, while CSI:NY crushed The Jay Leno Show and Eastwick as per usual.

Wow! The Middle actually got better ratings than Modern Family this week. It’s such a funny show but doesn’t seem to have the buzz that MF has. It consistently makes me laugh (yes, out loud) and
    deserves a little recognition.

I could not agree with you more Jackie! The middle is consitently a laugh out loud show. I hope it gets picked up for a second season and gets a bigger buzz.

I love that show too…kids are really cute!

Well Modern Family was a rerun!

      • Joe

The Middle was also a rerun.

And no, The Middle *did not* get better ratings than Modern Family.

        Modern Family – 1.9
        The Middle – 1.7

        Total viewers don’t matter.

“Disney Prep & Landing” was produced by Disney Animation NOT by Pixar.

i would’ve watched Eastwick but since they canceled, I stopped. I didn’t want to be invested emotionally in those characters that had nowhere to go. I enjoyed the show.

i have an idea for his next movie. it involves 2012, but it has a totally different spin. we are like minded when it comes to vision, and i think it would be a box office hit. if this message could find its way to him, i think it would be worth his time to contact me.
