    • Nick

      You won’t regret it.

    • arryana

      my thoughts exactly!

    • Lau

It’s such an awesome show really, I highly recommend it. Probably the best show ever.

    • Jackie

You should catch up with season 1 on dvd – goodness knows when season 2 is coming out. Anybody know?

      • Peter

Jackie season 2 comes out the first Tuesday in January.

      • cory

      • FH14

    • cory

its a really really good show, it has everything

    • Marianne

ITA with all the comments above. Give Chuck a chance!

    • Vikki Sixx

You should have been watching it all along! I know the premise sounds cheezy…I just watched the premiere because I had time to kill before the Heroes s2 premiere. Go figure. 2 years and change later and you can’t pay me to watch Heroes and nothing will make me miss an episode of Chuck!

“a spy for the Ring tasked with taking out Captain Awesome.”

    Say whaaaaa???????

    • palais

Yeah, that sentence makes sense to me, as I am an avowed Chuck fan. But to a non-Chuck fan, it might appear to be gibberish.

      • Sarah

Oh I am a Chuck fan and I get it. I was referring to the fact that someone is going to catch on that Captain Awesome knows the truth about Chuck!

    • DW

They can’t take out the Captain! Ryan McPartlin’s repeated shirtless appearances are like sprinkles on a cupcake… they make something good even better! ;)

  • Sam Carter

    LOVE Brandon Routh!! CHUCK rules!!

  • Rich

Routh ie Shaw is here for eight episodes not four.

  • Nicola

Routh is in at least 8, and if the episodes are consecutive he’s in 9, because I saw set pics of 3.12 and he was in them.

  • Jessi

OMG!!! I LOVE Chuck! Seriously one of the best shows on television. I am literally counting down the days til season 3 premiere!

The guest stars are AMAZING actors and I can’t wait to see what will happen now that Captain Awesome knows everything :)

But am I the only one wondering what the heck happened to Casey??

  • jmag

Not a Chuck fan; don’t get it. Tried to watch the hole first season but wasn’t hooked.

    • Ryan

      jmag,

The second season is a marked improvement on the 1st season, in case you had any notions of giving it another shot (the renew groundswell would not have been nearly as strong following S1 vs. S2). The humor and character development became much sharper. FYI, the SyFy channel is showing 8 S2 episodes on January 7th.

    • Shasta

Yeah, Season One got kinda repetitive, but Season Two really picked up the momentum and had so many OH MY GOD moments. If you’re impatient and aren’t a completionist, just start with Season 2.

      • Sam Carter

They should at least watch the pilot (season 1).

Chuck is an awesome show that has it all: action, adventure, suspense, comedy, drama and romance. Oh, and some cool sci fi elements ala Matrix. ;)

  • BeaAnn

    Hooray!!

  • Nick

jmag, the first season was good but the second season is where the show found it’s pulse. Give the second season a shot it’s much, much better.

    • jmag

Thanks for the tip. Will keep an open mind about the 2nd season.

  • dr

    Excellent.

  • Gambs

Casey is still a vital part of the show. I’ve seen other screen shots where he’s featured. They are also going to make a few Casey-centered episodes (Chuck vs. the Angel of Death, Chuck vs. the American Hero) that will delve into his past.

Adam Baldwin will still get plenty of screen time this year.

    • Monica

I am really glad to hear that! He does such a good job. Adam is a vital part of the show for me.

    • castiella

Thanks for clearing that up, Gambs. I was starting to get really concerned about Casey’s lack of prominence in scoop/promos. I’m glad the PTB still plan to showcase the vortex of awesome that is Adam Baldwin. :-)

    • Amy

      Love Casey’s grunts!

  • BlatantURLPimpingMustDie

Looks like Angie Harmon gets the better of Superman – isn’t that him KO’d on the floor in the big photo?

  • Nessa

Cant wait for January 10&11 premiering at 8 on NBC its going to be AWESOME!!!!!!

  • john

Love that Angie’s spy name is Sydney.
A wink and a nudge, nudge to a sorely missed spy gal?

    • Matty

I know! Totally miss those Bristows.

  • Richard

If they kill off Captain Awesome, I’m not watching it anymore. I think Capt. Awesome should become a naturally awesome spy himself. Which Chuck finds frustrating that he picks it up so fast.

    • Amy

They won’t kill him. Don’t worry.
